Like new, with all manuals and receipts. These are 87 models (blade to blade) purchased in 02/88. All cloth and grills are like new. Sound fabulous, will start mods and upgrades this winter.
Congrats! Hard to find in that shape. Enjoy modding!

I have a new Halo A23 (thanks Skip) delivering Thursday to drive them.

ebay alert: Up for bid A pair of Polk Audio SDA SRS towers in all their glory with an original retail cost of over $3400 in the mid 80's. These units are from 1986 I believe. The finish is not perfect...the tops could use refinishing due to watermarks, but you need to be well over 6 ft tall to notice and I don't think it would take much to do it. Also the grill cloth could use replacing. I do not have a big amp to push them but did hook them up and all speakers did work. Three of the 6" drivers have a small rip. The top cable connect on the right speaker is broken see photo. These speakers are over 5 ft tall and weigh 185 lbs each. I can deliver them for a fee in the state of Arizona. I can have them freighted by a local fright company they charge around 350.00. Please call me to discuss shipping.

I love my 10's. I bought them new in 88 or 89. I have yet to find some 7's around me for less then $150. But then again this is the South. I think that is a tad high but they are in great condition from the looks of it.

Not me, I'm happy with my 1.2tl's
I talked with the guy he said he own's a set of 1.2tl's as well as a couple sets of CRS's said he loves old polk speakers..
He has a garage full of speakers...
-
I'd consider the SDA-SRS's, but I already have 2 pair in my livingroom. :-) Then again, maybe I need a set for my garage... haha
-
I really see no reason to buy any more vintage Polk speakers.. I might consider the LSiM 705/707's someday but I highly doubt it..
I want a set of Maggie's
Alan, how have you been?? Did you finish your basement? -

Alan, how have you been?? Did you finish your basement?
I've been good, Larry, thanks for asking. Unfortunately, I stalled on my basement project last summer. I just got burned out working a full time job plus doing construction every night. I plan on kicking it into high gear soon though and getting it finished!
It's been a while since I've been on here. Thought I'd pop my head in and say "I'm not dead yet!". haha How have you been? -

Thanks, Polkie! I'll try to show my digital face around her more often. I still watch this thread for any new speakers that need to find their way into my collection. Thanks to everyone that are always crawling CL for good deals! -
