Moose, I'll be honest, I picked it up for their version of Highway To Hell, amazing what these lads can do with a Cello. That said though, the disc pushes my system quite nicely to it's limits.
I'll have to give "Highway to Hell" another listen.

I have to say, as I listen to 2cellosin2ition, my favorite tracks are "Oh, Well," "Every Breath You Take," "Bang Bang," and "Benedictus."

Ned, I had never heard of Maria Pires until you mentioned her in a post above in this thread. After reading your post, I listened to some samples of her playing, read a bit about her, and ended up buying the bed set of her Deutsche Grammophon recordings released in honor of her 70th birthday. So far, I'm really pleased with these recordings. The Chopin nocturnes are "killer."
I also like Dave Matthews, but not across the board. So, what's new. Who likes everything performed by anybody?
Right now, I am so happy with the mod's Trey did for my SRS1.2s (now, 1.2TLs) that it's hard for me to fully separate my pleasure with the sound I'm hearing from my pleasure from the music to which I'm listening.
It all sounds great!

Ive always enjoyed Journey with Steve Perry. I picked up a few older Journey albums & i gotta say this early stuff is very good. I musta been too stoned back in the 70's & didnt pay attn.
