There are a few games they should have won this year. Given the complete fiasco of the AP mess and all the injuries they have played through this season, I give them credit for having the record they have. They have learned to play through adversity this year. Next season they will be a much better team.

Hate to say it but the Hawks are surging again! Not a fan, but one has to be honest. They look like they may be the team to beat depending on whether Dallas is for "real" or plans to FOLD again in the playoffs. Hawks should be able to take the Packers.
Pats, another late season lackluster performance against the Jets? Yeah, it's a win, but a real SB bound team would have blown the Jets out! Let's see what Denver does tonight? Currently, the AFC is looking ill-prepared to win a SB? Whereas the NFC has the Hawks and Dallas surging?

I agree John, as a die hard viking I was making a small jest as much as anything. All in all we should be happy for what they did do with all the issues we had. but yes we drop some games or gave away some like the lions & Dolphins... just funny that we had a running game but was needing a passing game...now its the other way around!

Have to echo some comments on the Bears. It all starts at the top though guys and that apparently isn't going to change anytime soon. Cutler is a problem but not the only one....agreed. Think about it, wherever Cutler was/is, he only succeeds at getting coaches fired, never his fault at anything. He has a piss-poor attitude unbecoming of an NFL QB....let alone the highest paid one. Plus he can't read a defense worth S$$T.
Now the Bears current coach....is no NFL coach. Their playbook is about as stale as 3 day old Italian bread and hasn't changed much over the years making it easy as pie for defenses to read the offense. Their talent level too has decreased making it even more obvious the faults that the team extrudes. Terrible management, terrible coaching, lackluster talent...is there anything else to expect out of them ?

Seriously, the Denver defense on that 85 yard run play has got to be the worst snap of defensive football I've ever seen.
What a truly horrific first 20 minutes of the game by Denver. The defense is playing poorly and that's actually an upgrade over how I'd describe the offensive play... -

It seems like the obvious choice but I don't see any wildcard teams this year that are hot or make me nervous, I think we're looking at a New England/Seattle Super Bowl and this will be the first time I've ever rooted for NE in the big game. -

I can't say that I give NE a chance against a hot Hawks team that will probably keep Brady contained like the Giants did in the last two SBs. I don't see ANY AFC team that can hang a full 60 minutes with a Seattle team if it's firing on all cylinders even if Billy B. gets Hawks' practice taps, lol Again, nothing is a sure thing, maybe the Steelers will be an upset team. Maybe Dallas's luck will continue? Who knows for sure?

Yes, any team can beat any team. Just depends if there firing on all cylinders. As for the Cowboys, I think its more then luck that's keeping them going. I think the Cowboys have the best chance of beating the Seahawks, probably of anybody in the NFL. I still think Seattle is the best team in the league by a large margin and they probably win 7 out of 10 games against the Cowboys, but luckily it's a one game playoff.
My guess is the Cowboys will probably find a way to lose against an inferior team before then but if they do come up against the Hawks I give them a great chance to win. -

Alright at least my Vikings beat the Bears to take 3rd place 7-9 record but the best news is they found a Quarterback get this young man a few receivers a better offensive line we will be looking good next year. My other team the Chargers lost which means I won't have to watch them lose in the playoffs. I Will now watch the Packers outscore the Lions by a wide margin. Playoffs next week I will stay with a NFC North team to go to the bowl so I hate saying this but go Packers.
