Falcon, you are missing my point. Yeah it does not mean a **** to you. Because you do not own or have financial ties to Polk Audio. My point was that a crappy website reflects on the company to a point.

Yeah it don't make a **** to me if they fix it or not. It was just an observation/opinion. And you know how opinions are right? >:)

Yea I feel you man. Understood. And really I don't care enough to be acting like I care enough to act like I care enough to act like I really give a **** one way or another... I just think it's funny that those who once acted "tough" now act like little ****.

lol, no ****. **** pussies. I figured out every function within maybe 5-10 minutes of playing around... most of the complaints here are completely moronic. I do want a widescreen option though...

edit: and even if I don't get my widescreen option, I really don't give a ****; it's funny how all the old geezers who normally bust people's balls for being too touchy have now turned into whiney little ****. **** ****.

Aside from the whining. If I was Polk Audio. I would want a website that was top notch. That had features that made sense to it's users. I would have done more testing or research on what I was upgrading to prior. Some words are censored while "pussies" is not? That is a good example of how much thought went into developing this site! lol

My only real gripe is the lack of widescreen option I guess. I guess the other issues we just have to learn to deal with ehh? New users will adapt...yeah. Seems to me Polk should invest more in their web development.

EDIT: And why the hell is the edit button up top?!?

Ok, you would have done more testing/research. Well Polk didn't. Do I give a ****? No. Why? Because it's a **** audio site where I come to waste time.

Hey i'm an old **** and i figgerd it out in like 5 minutes. Great rant tho.. wish i thought of some of that...

Nice attitude. It's the old geezers who made this place what it was and obviously since you don't care it'll be up to the same old geezers to get it back to being the best audio forum on the net, which is what they are trying to do with no thanks from people like you. Tell ya what, since you're here just to waste time how about you stop wasting ours. I'm sure you know where the door is, punk.

    Old geezers ??

Age makes no difference, and anyone who's been around this forum for more than 2 months knows it's the collective knowledge base of a lot of "old geezers" that helps more Polk customers out than Polk themselves. Especially when it comes to SDA's, first timers, and older dudes getting back in the game. It's also the "old geezers" that save you coin spent and disappointments, wasted steps.

There's a reason why all the "wise men" or "scholars" in history have been older men, not 16 year olds.

As far as the forum goes, lets see if some complaints are taken up and fixed where possible. Nothing happens overnight.

My disagreement with you is your attitude. As you are one of the senior and more respected posters here i would have expected that you would have been more of a leader and supportive of the folks at Polk during this transition. We get it you don't like the changes...I would have thought you could have made some positive criticisms; but the way you have attacked people that have worked hard to make this change is not what I would have expected. I don't understand your comment about me needing to "pull my pants up first", perhaps you could explain that to me. Apparently you feel entitled by your post count to mock and bully posters and focus your anger on everyone who happens to disagree with you. I try not to say things online that I wouldn't say to someone's face and you should probably consider adopting that advice. While many of us have appreciated your wisdom and guidance over the years you need to understand that you are not the only reason why some of us come here.

    Hello,
Let me see what issues can be solved. For anyone who is having a problem using a PC to log on, but is able on another device, give me as much information as possible. Are you logging in by using a previously bookmarked address? Can you delete any old bookmarked Polk addresses and try logging in from the new address? What browser are you using?
The more information I can provide Polk the better the chances of them being able to solve problems.
The re-direct is something that I'll point out to them for "lost" members.
    Cheers, Ken

Ken maybe the sys admin can send an email with log in info to all users that way they might be able to see it.. Perhaps some guidance on what works and what doesn't could help too. Newer forums might have issues with older browsers and O/S's that are unsupported. The developers should be able to tell you what the minimum o/s and browser requirements are.

Dark blue (not bright "electric" blue) might be nice (not very "Polk", I understand, but there's a legibility/eyestrain consideration as well as a commercial one!).

Thanks for getting back to us with suggestions/solutions, Ken.

If the red font gets "fixed" -- with dark blue or black -- I think it will be easy enough to get used to the other changes -- assuming the log-in issues others have experienced are remedied.

Oh, I'm certainly not an "old geezer" in terms of length of membership, number of posts, or substantive contributions, but I certainly am in terms of age -- I'm sorry to say.

And, I am one of those members who has both really benefited from the contributions of others and is extremely grateful for them and for the continuing work of Polk to provide, maintain, and improve this forum for us.
