"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

he doesn't know, he was never told. He thinks it might have something to do with posting a link to a video.

I keep accidentally hitting the user name when I'm trying to tap on the time stamp which is right next to it (tablet). So if I or someone accidentally flags a post, can it be undone? I'm not too Facebook savy, but I know if you "like" a post, you can go back and unlike it. Can you unspam or unflag someone to correct an accident?

I don't know, I didn't get to see the video. I know this forum doesn't like Germans, I typed "Soup N-A-Z-I" in a thread and it got bleeped.

No, it was a case of hovering over the buttons to see what they are. I never even realized I did it. I have removed it. My apologies.

Both Halo and ZTFUL have flagged posts of mine, if it makes them feel good, fine with me. I don't think the mods pay any attention to it, just like the "like" and "agree" buttons.

Although I have some issues with the new site design, my biggest fear is that the complaining will cause us to lose the site completely. That would be a shame. Yes widescreen would be great and a different font color would be an improvement and should be implemented as soon as possible. Not giving a link from the old site to the new site was not a bright idea. Yes there are problems.

In the end though it the users and not the site design that makes this forum special. I think a lot of the annoyances can be addressed over time. Losing the old links and pictures was a big mistake but maybe someone will see the light and make an effort to salvage that in the near future. If they don't then the original posters can help as new/old questions arise and find the pictures from their restoration efforts or upgrades and create new content.

Some of the reasons this forum has been special to me and why I've been a frequent lurker and decent poster has nothing at all to do with website design. I'm here because the members take care of each other. There is a brotherhood of friends with some common interests and passions that lead to true friendships across state lines even though you may never meet face to face. I talk to Enders on here more than probably anyone else I know locally. He knows more about my ups and downs in life than my own family. I've driven hundreds of miles to pick up speakers for ScottyBoy and deliver some other ones to WKJeffers for another member.

Many members go way above and beyond to help fellow polkies. With knowledge, nuke proof packaging jobs, great sale prices, and friendly banter back and forth. This site is about the fellowship of Polkies NOT vbullettin or vanilla. I hope we can collectively offer constructive criticism to the mods, creaters, powers that be ect to get some of our suggestions implemented without stepping on so many toes that they decide the hell with it and just close it down......

What a load. Once you click on "Flag" you have to make a concerted effort to then select one of the three options. But hey, keep digging, you're good at it.

I hovered over the buttons to see what was there, I didn't realize I clicked on it.

Don't really care if you believe me. Of all the people here, your opinion matters the very least to me. You are less than worthless.

Haha! Shows you how many times I've tried to flag a post! After just trying it, I realise you are absolutely correct Jesse. It takes too much intent to accidentally hit the flag and then "report as" button. Not impossible, but takes effort and intent.

We may have to flag WilliamM2's post as "a load". Is that an option? :#

The point I was making Bill, or can I call you slick Willie, is that you are full of it as Jesse pointed out. It is a two step process to flag a post. Your confirmation is the second step and it is a deliberate act to click to open the tab as well as to send the notification. You could have easily said "my bad" fixed it and apologized. Now you got busted in a lie instead and that is worse than your original blunder. Did your daddy never teach you this lesson?

I clicked on flag, simply to see what it was, I did not intentionally click on one of the three boxes that come up. There is no confirmation, I just checked when I flagged yours.

And I did fix it and apologize, but apparently you can't read any better than you can reason.

Was just informed that his ban will be a permanent thing.... apparently the language code for linked video is also going to be strictly enforced. From now on kiddies, if it ain't Romper Room or Mr. Rogers approved, think twice before posting it...

wow... I went through that exercise to se just what it takes to flag a post, and I too removed my flags. The point is there is no way you did anything by mistake, and then you go and report me for abuse for pointing that out to you and calling you on it.

That is rich testament to you character. Good for you. If there was an IL list, you sir would be back on it.
