Oh, man....what a treat. Micah and Melissa, we were HONORED to have you.

Without Micah, there would be no Polkfest and this brand loyalty that he speaks of, really, he put it on wheels. No ****. Micah is the one who is really responsible for taking that brand loyalty and using it. The forum? The Speaker Specialist (I MISS that thing), Polkfest.....he was (and still is to the extent that he can) OUR advocate. Our guy on the inside. He deserves a lot of credit.

Anywho, Micah coming by was a real treat and Melissa is really fantastic.

Agreed. LSiM's are on my short list. I need a pair. LOVE the 703's. They were awesome. Want a pair. More importantly, TLW like them too. Damn, I missed out on the sale...how did I miss that??

Just to give you a heads up Troy......

On the way out of Myrtle Beach today we stopped at Sparky's roadside attraction (tourist trap sells everything) and upon leaving there was this guy looking in the back of my car at the speakers. He happened to be parked beside me in a you guessed it... a Boxer. He goes on to tell me he is a big fan of Polk Audio and noticed the 703's and proceeded to bloviate about how he was a member of this online polk audio forum and the members give him a hard time. He's pissed that for the last month no one has believed his story about buying his 1st car unseen off of ebay. After nudging me in the side with his elbow and a huge grin on his face lets me know that the joke will be on them.....

He decided to paint the car his favorite shade of yellow and drive down for this big annual gathering at a forum member's home down in Charleston next weekend. Apparently PFB and the wife are staying in Myrtle Beach this week and will be driving down to some restaurant in North Charleston next Friday at 7 to surprise everyone and get the last laugh.

Oh well that's just PFB for you- A week late and a few dollars short............

    PFBs Boxer.JPG

Just joking everyone.............No animals were harmed as a result of this fabricated story. Kidding you PFB.

Thanks for the pics, good to see old friends.

Travis, one correction. That is not Lasareth, it's Lou aka Oskigod.

Oh and Micah is aka The Hobbit Pimp, aka Socks.

    Loved the PFB story :)

Sorry Lou. We met in the restaurant with a crowd and I had a hard time hearing so I never asked to verify after I knew your actual name was Lou. Apologies to Laserath and Lou.

Tried to find a black boxer, but the only one I saw was going the other way too quick to grab the camera.

I didn't make it to Troy's this go 'round, but did the last time. If memory serves, Troy had them set up with a Melos phono pre running into some tube monoblocks. That system sounded really good. Had Hendrix spinning loud, small room, I was in there touching myself for hours before someone walked in.

UGH, wish I didn't miss this. Unfortunately I had to use up a bit of my time off from work for some illness and surgery over the summer. All is better now and i'm back to the gym to whip this body back into shape, hopefully for PF 2014.

Sounds like it was the classic Fest that's always held at TLW Estates!
    No excuses!
