Is that a doorhandle in your pants or are you just happy to see me?

Here's a WIX 51010 oil filter on the left, and a Baldwin P40 on the right.

They're supposed to be interchangable, but astute viewers will notice a number of differences.

That is damn funny! Very clever observation!

That could very well be, but a little bit better view from a front shot makes me wonder. That thing is real close to a lot of very expensive body work.
"Tin-Eye"'d the original pic, hoping to get some sort of explanation. Got 17 hits, all of them in Spanish which, despite the wonders of Google Translator, only told me that apparently this was taken as a promo for the movie "Turbo". In Chicago ?
Cup holder and "finger pull" aren't bad guesses, but I'm going to go with some sort of beer pong option.

    Attachment not found.

The snail you see in the back ground is turbo, and yes the car is just a promo for the movie..

    Tony, Steve, Jake,
Thanks for the kind words. I really got lucky finding a 41 year old car in such pristine, original condition. She had two previous owners, older gentlemen, a USAF colonel and then a major. It was the weekend car, always garaged, always respected. I carry on the tradition. For more info and photos check out my TR page:

    http://www.triumphowners.com/registry.cgi?section=triumph&vehicleID=1801&i=0

Here's a music video of her by a semi-pro videographer who wanted a subject. The paint's been buffed and new, wider redline radials added since this was shot. Try and watch it in HD if you have the connection. http://vimeo.com/couchmode/cabinone/videos/sort:date/23710713
