Finally got around to throwing in the game RAGE. Let me tell you.........how disappointed i am. Although the look and styling of the game is phenomenal, the game play is boring and i feel like the game is stuck on repeat.....stuck on repeat.....stuck on repeat........
I'll muscle through as i can't, not finish it.

I am playing BF3 as well even though i'm on a slight hiatus due to lack of time.

Forza 4 lately right now. I thought it would be basically the same as Forza 3. Not so. Very fun game.

Anybody ever play Brutal Legend? Jack Black's video game? Total stoner game, but pretty fun game and great side missions.

I completely agree. I'm glad I waited till it hit $12 (Steam download) before I bought it. I had really high hopes for this game, but between the poor textures, texture pop ins, mediocre gameplay, etc.. I rank it up there with DNF.. another HUGE let down for me.

    As for games I'm playing...

Alice, Risen, Skyrim, Burnout Paradise City, Darksiders, AVP, Serious Sam 3, Crysis 2.. and probably a few more. Those are the games I played over the weekend.. I tend to jump around a lot.

I'm playing on 360... and I think it's outstanding. It gets a little repetitive toward the end of the first area, but definitely ramps up once you hit Subway Town and are fighting The Authority. Can't judge the PC version, but the 360 version is one of the best looking (and sounding) games on the system.

I had taken a break from it because I've been playing nothing but multiplayer/co-op lately, but I played a solid 6 hours of it over the weekend. Trying to beat the game before the rush of Q1 games hits (Darkness 2, Syndicate, Mass Effect 3, etc.).

I'm used to really high textures so that's probably one of the reasons I'm not very happy with it. I'll finish it one of these days. Oh yea, I forgot the main reason I stopped playing. There is a bug with ATI GPU's. The shadows are blue. It's ridiculous. The game has been released for what.. 5 months now? And they cannot fix a simple little bug (I blame ATI).

I'm looking forward to ME3 as well, actually been thinking about replaying the first 2 but I probably have 5 other games I haven't even started yet and I don't play a whole lot anymore, so I doubt I'll have time. With the release of Skyrim I logged in 120 hours in the first month so I kinda over did it and lost my desire to sit at the computer / couch and game.

    PS3: Gran Turismo 5

PC: Mostly X3:Terran Conflict at the moment. I played Skyrim pretty solidly for the first month it was out, and then just kind of stopped. I swear I'll go back to it any day now, but I'm notoriously bad at finishing games.

Also playing through Mass Effect 1, albeit slowly.

Though I did finish Bastion just before Christmas, which was totally worthwhile.

Playing Deux Ex: Human Revolution now. I've always loved the Deus Ex series and this one is by far the best. Superb gameplay, and the story is very immersive.

You can set the difficulty to easy and just play along through the story, or if you really like a challenge can crank up the difficulty and it will absolutely give you a challenge.

You can also go for certain achievements, like completing missions without ever being seen by the enemy, which makes it a stealth-based game, or completing missions without ever killing anyone, which takes the run-and-gun factor completely out. Or you can simply say screw it all and run and gun if that's what you want to do!

So you can really tailor it to how you like to play, and the story that you play through will suck you in regardless. I usually do not play games for the story at all, so coming from me that's pretty high praise.

Finally making my way through Uncharted 2 -- really is an unbelievable game. One of the most impressive games I've ever seen in terms of graphics, storyline, gameplay, etc... a must play for any PS3 owner, and it's been out long enough you can pick it up for a song.

So... I unexpectedly beat Rage last night. I say unexpectedly because it just ENDS. No big boss battle... No extended cutscene wrapping up the story... It just ENDS. And the crappy part is that they give you this really awesome weapon for just the last mission, introduce you to a new area (Authority HQ), introduce a new enemy type... and then it's just OVER. It's like they ran out of money and decided "Well, we'll just end it there then." Disappointing. Great game up to that point though.

And now, I'm going back to Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Never finished it because I got sidetracked with other games (which may happen again, because I'm picking up Soul Calibur V after work).

    No one on Uncharted 3?
It's the best game since Uncharted 2! ha!

I find that I don't have the patience for many games anymore, but the uncharted series can keep me captivated for hours. I haven't played the new Batman games, but hear theyre fantastic.

I did try Fallout 3. I wouldve liked it 10 years ago when I loved needing to devote 50+ hours to a game, but not for me these days.

Just picked up a 360 and was looking at getting Forza 3(I'm cheap, but you all know that). Anyone know how game play is on Forza 4 w/kinect?

In addition to all else I have listed I am now also playing Kinectimals, and revege of the fallen(so far it seems pretty lame, picked it up for the kids).
