Gonzo,
Based on recommendations from others on this forum (polkatease, Russ, etc.) I recently purchased some Signal Cable Analog two interconnects for my system. $53 / pair. They sound great. Buy a pair and see if you like them for two channel audio.
For a little over $200 you can have what you are looking for.

Think I answerd your question in the fleamarket but I 'll put it here as well.
M550i's by Monstercable.Right up your alley and would match your system nicely. On a budget there great. They retail for 50.00 for 1 meter.Great price and lifetime warranty.Dan
My personal quest is to save to world of bad audio, one thread at a time. -
Check this place out...It's DIY cable but the work is already done for you...

My buddy uses them on his B&K rig and he loves them...great price performance and solid construction...

Depending on how the old bidding process goes, I may be able to build you some nice silver plated copper ones.
Your cost would be my cost(ie pennies per foot) Labor would probably be free. After all it's a labour of love.
Update: I lost the bid while I was at work.Make it Funky! -
Ditto to Bluejeans cables. They are very service orientated and the product is good quality.
