Well, after working a hellatious week at work I come home to jam to some tunes and guess what? Some buttmunches broke into my house and stole most of my rig that I have worked so hard to put together the past couple of years.

Man, if I knew who did this they would not be alive right now.

They left the RG power supply, a couple of IC's and the rack. MF's even took my satellite receiver! My neighbors aren't home right now so I don't know exactly when it happened but there is glass all around the back door and the living room is a complete mess.

It looks like they kiped my wife's laptop and many of my CD's as well. Good thing they didn't find the SACD collection but with no rig to play them on, I should have left them out too.

Damn.

Damn, damn.

I don't recall EVER being this furious before!

That is horrible to hear! I can only begin to imagine how I'd feel in your situation. I sure hope you're able to find out who did this.

Wow...I'm so sorry. I could only imagine how furious I would be if that happened. Some people have no conscience; how could you do that to someone? People need to learn what it feels like to work hard for something in their lives. One thing I was never able to get past is theft, the fact that people can just steal something from others without any guilt. Really makes me sad. I hope there is some way you might be able to tell who did it, and hopefully your insurance will be able to reimburse you the cost of most of what was stolen. I am so sorry man.

Hopefully; when my friend back home was robbed, the insurance company paid for pretty much everything that was stolen so they bought most of it back, but it's still a pain in the ****$.

Tom, I am so sorry this happened. Hopefully the SOB's will get caught and your rig will be returned. I hope you have a good insurer and don't get screwed that way too!

Dude, that is so horrible. I can't even say how sorry I am to hear this. I had a break in about a year and a half ago, but all they took was my PS3. I was furious at the time, but that in no way compares to what happened to you. ****!!!

That absolutely sucks - I am so sorry to hear that.

Leaves a hole inside you knowing that there are scum that take from others.

I had my truck stolen *at work* - but I know that is not the same thing as having your *home* broken into.

    that SUUUUUX!!!

I have a home alarm and a dog here and still worry about that (audio gear and music gear floating around.

I find home invasion to be the worst of crimes. scumbags should be fried for it, and I am serious as cancer when I say that. most think I am unreasonable when I give that opintion, though I dont think Tom is one of them right now

T, try to focus on the fact it is only stuff. worse things happen during home invasions. Might sound hollow as you are lookit at a gaping hole where your rig used to be, but it's the truth.

I'm right there with you Louie as I've had my condo broken into years ago and felt violated and had some degree of fear each time I left the place alone for more than a day. Tom I know the feeling, find something to beat on that won't bust up your knuckles and toes, I'm stone cold serious.

wow really hope this is a joke! if not keep an eye out on craigslist and ebay for your gear, seriously. If its high end audio they probably have NO idea what it is and probably just try to pawn or sell it super quick. My brother had two of his top of the line mountain bikes stolen in college and ended up finding them peiced out in local ads and a pawn shop!
