    For those about to Rock AC/DC

    I love when they fire off the cannons at the end. If that doesn't get you going, your dead and forgot to fall over.

    Recorded in a place not to far from some of us "polkers" in central Illinois the place Pekin Ill. It seemed everybody had to have this one in high school in central Il. in the 70's & 80's. I bet i went through 3 LP's played the grooves right through.

    I've personally never gotten tired of "Time" by Floyd. It's so hard for me to choose one as the best so I'll go with Time since I always have to crank it up whenever it comes on. David Gilmour is still unparalleled when it comes to guitar solo composition IMHO.

    The number one all time Rock song was voted on a few years ago and Stairway to Heaven was number one. There's a ton of great songs. Another great rock anthem is Rock and Roll all night party every day by Kiss.

    Usually when the radio stations do their Memorial Day count down to the greatest all time Rock song, Stairway to Heaven is most times the winner. It is a great song but ssssssssssssoooooooooooooooooooo played out that I have trouble listening to even on my 200 gm Classic Records pressing of LZ IV.

    Al, you should hear the Classic Records 200 gm vinyl pressing of LZ IV or any of the LZ LPs they've put out. They WOW you and bring you to two inch goosebumps.

    Jesse, an ardent vinyl "hater" (joke) was completely bowled over when I played the CR of LZ I for him. He commented that it was everything he heard on his SACD rig and more.

    If we are breaking down rock bands by decades I will vote for Godsmack for the 2000's. That is one kick **** band. Even the marines use their songs on there commercials.
