Pathetic in my opinion. I did laugh real hard, hard enough I had tears running down my cheeks. He strayed from his religion?? What for 10-11 years??? And he's what? 30 yrs old? Save that crap for a sympathizer. He's trying to blame a sexual addiction. How F'ing funny is that???????????
I'd have liked to ask him when does he expect to get laid again.

I don't get why this is such a big deal... It's his life. He's young and he doesn't need help. If everyone didn't make such a big deal about this he still be playing golf. He's not a drug addict. Enjoying sex is not going to hinder him on the course. Whats the point of all this?

When's the divorce is all I want to know.

Think I got a shot at the ex-Mrs. Woods? I heard she'll be worth quite a pile of money even with a pre-nup.

This is about Public Image and how sponsors view his reception to the Consumer Public.

If the public think he's a **** bag, then few if any sponsors will pay him to endorse products that consumers may not care for if they are represented by someone they think is a scum.

I doubt this has anything to do with hearfelt sincerity to change his character.

first off.. some kids look up to him.. he's is at the top of his game.. like any sports star who excells.. you have kids who look up to you. do you think that's right for him to be in his position to be doing stuff like that.

his only remorse is that he got caught.

I laughed at his angry voice. Funny stuff....

He's right about one thing, his words don't mean ****. His actions will tell the story.

I hope he can get it together and keep it together.

I LOL reading that article. I especially liked this'
"I'll probably be a little rusty," Woods said. "But once I swing the old **** around a few times and get it in the first couple holes, I'm confident that I'll still be able to drive it as deep as I always have."
    WAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

Really though who the hell cares aside from the fact that he is a role model for younger kids who shouldn't be hearing this crap in the first place. I frankly think people are just jealous of his talent, money, and ability to get all the nookie he wants.:D

Just another rich guy in the limelight that has a microscope on everything he does. Who said money can make you happy.

Great, and now those kids have learned that EVERYBODY, even Tiger, is human, and that it doesn't matter who you are, you're ultimately going to have to pay the price for your actions.

I hope they'll also get to see that a mistake (or sieries of mistakes) can be overcome, and people will forgive, and those mistakes don't have to be someone's undoing. I'd like to see him come back and play some golf and put this whole thing behind all of us.

To answer your question, I don't think it's right for ANYONE to be doing stuff like that, but that's a judgement based on my personal set of morals, and who am I to project that on someone else's life?

If that's the case, what if I'm anti-abortion, anti-****, anti-gun - should I pass judgement on those people or dislike people with beliefs just because they're different? I'm not any of those things by the way, just an example...

While adultery tends to be more universalle agreed upon as a bad thing, as far as I know he didn't break any laws. While I don't agree with what he did, I think the reaction by everyone is waaaaaaay overkill.

For all the kids who looks up to him, take this as a good life-lesson - Nobody is perfect, everybody makes mistakes, some bigger than others, life's all about how you recover from your mistakes...

Morals had NOTHING to do with my comment. I never once said that it was ok for him to cheat on his wife. I never cheated on a girlfriend and never will. My point was that I only knew him as a great golfer, and this situation should not make him put his career on a indefinite hold. Its between him and his wife.

You hope he fails at his Charity work also? He may not be important to your existence, but his charity work and foundation are important to lots of people.

I just don't get the hatred. It's the same thing that happened when Vick came back, I'm thinking you gotta forgive and give people a second chance, but maybe that's because I'm not perfect.

Again I'll say it, you guys are harsh!

No doubt you have a chance with her. You just have to get a game plan together and then execute it. I am sure with your charm and character she'll fall hear over heels for you. You do have a putter???

I think Tiger should tell his wife to "beat it" and go on with his playboy lifestyle. That's probably in a round about way what will happen anyway. Get it while the getting is good.

As a golf guy I do wonder if he will continue to swear and throw clubs when he returns.

I'll never understand why being rich is an excuse for being a sleaze bag. Do women throw themselves at you when you're rich? Yes.

So...if he liked to get heaps of strange so much, why did he get married?

Best post in the thread except I'd like to take it one step further. The kids who look up to him should not have to be told all the slimy details of his "transgresions!" Any parent who allows their children to hear of all the seedy details is not teaching them good character and morals.

I particularly like your take on EVERY one is human and to add to that everyone is a hypocrite in their own way at one time or another.

Tommyboy what if he was a drug addict, what difference would that make? It is an illness that can be overcome just like sex addiction or diabetes with the proper treatment.

You must not watch much sports, or movies, then.

Sure, there are some guys out there who are innocent, but I bet that more pro athletes that we know or care to admit do the same stuff. The difference is they're either smarter and don't get caught, or nobody cares because they're not Tiger or MJ or Kobe.

If you're really that naive about pro athletes or actors then I have a bridge to sell you.

Seriously if I were to create a list of all the people who I don't agree with or like and not watch them I'd get alot more stuff done.

I wouldn't be sitting here right now watching Gladiator with Braveheart in queue, because Russell Crowe and Mel are both douchebags...

Good point! I'm not saying it is a good excuse. I'm saying the temptation goes with the territory and that temptation can be very overwhelming. I'm not justifying his actions by any means but I'm not going to judge him because he fell under the spell of the temptation. Hopefully he'll rise above the scandal and get back to his talented business.

He's a golfer, arguably the best golf has ever seen. I only care about what he does on the golf course. Now if he's a drug addict selling drugs to kids, a pedophile, kills someone while driving drunk, etc, etc then I have an issue with him as a human being and wouldn't care to ever watch him play golf again. Until then, I just want to watch him play golf. Nothing more, nothing less.

You are thinking way too much into this. Please reread my last two posts. To me, he is a golfer... Thats it, his personal life is exactly that, personal. Now if he had a drug problem and that problem showed directly on the golf course.. then yes, I think it would deserve its fullest attention.

I'll say this one more time to get this straight, my comments about the whole tiger woods situation does not mean I think its ok, but he should not quit golfing because of it. Thats it! If I knew him personally then, yeah he's a big **** ****. But I never met him, he hits a golf ball well and thats all I care about about him.
