I believe Jimmydep accidentally froze one speaker into a solid block of ice and upon thawing out, it worked and sounded like new.

holy crap. Ok I'll get the pic up today then. I read that line in the op about them being tough but you know I was just being careful. Thanks!

Aye! Awesome Karma Mark. I will probably relocate these Mirage speakers and put the Polks in there place for my listening to music while washing cars enjoyment.

My head is outside a lot, so I'm thinking about a speaker mounted right next to each ear. I don't have a camera. Aye.

They'll be going back here, in my back yard and Tiki Hut. Currently, I'm using old car speakers for my back yard tunes...

Aye! Hope I get the 7's... we've been joking that the shower stall is big enough for a party.

Disclaimer: The parrot isn't mine. Took this pic on the home inspection when we were buying this place. Oh, and all the people that responded in my towel warmer thread can see the dilemma.

Aye! I would really use a pair of good speakers to replace the pos KLH that I have now. They supply music to the patio and need help. We want to install speakers in the ceiling of the kitchen sometime so this could work. Already have speakers in the bathroom! Thanks for the great karma Doro.

Aye and thanks for the opportunity. My work shop has old car 6x9s matched with an old car cassette player. Needless to say, an upgrade is desired. Old speakers are mounted in unstained wooden stands on an upper shelf for the time being.

    Aye

Here is the picture of our "courtyard" at our new house. This picture was on the listing. I don't have a current picture, but it looks pretty similar. I've wired it already, but haven't installed speakers yet. Was going to install my old Atriums.

Really nice karma, but I've got fairly new A65sdi's so no need for any new speakers.
I did demo the A5's, and they sounded excellent, and with the new and greatly improved bracketing system anyone would be fortunate to win this Kama.

    Good luck all!!!

    Not in.

I wish I could justify these things, either in a bathroom or outside.

Aye. I most definitely could use these for the back porch/ back yard.

I'll snap a pic when I get home, but you'll have to pretend there's not 2 feet of snow on the ground and it's sunny and the grill (that is stored under the house) is out and going and hot girls are running around in bikinis dancing to the music pumping from my new Polks..............I think I'll keep that picture in my head whether I win or not :)

Polk: Probably the most generous company I have ever dealt with. I preach Polk customer service like the gospel at work, and stuff like this just adds fuel to the flames. I'm sure Crutchfield has gotten a few Polk sales from my in-office recommendations.
