When replacing a driver - which wire connects to the terminal with the red dot?

Which speaker? Polk uses mainly Black on the positive.
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks
    Ben

The drivers have the same size, most of polk's tweeters do as well.

Like Ben said, First identify your speakers. Then you or someone can look at the wiring diagrams. They will tell you, or someone that has the same speakers can.

    Thanks for the replies.

    They are S4 speakers.

According to the online schematic - Polk denotes the black wire to the mid-range driver as positive. The schematic doesn't have anything in it's notes concerning which speaker terminal is marked. Some speaker companies mark their negative terminals and some mark their positive.

I realized that all I had to do was pull a driver from another S4 to see how it was wired. Next time - I'll leave the bad driver connected instead of committing things to memory. :D
