This karma is truly inspirtaional (NOT IN) but I do find it a challenge that I and others may hope to meet with future karmas of our own...

I think Mark has established a 'new' standard here and my hat is off to him...let's see if we can add to this in the future...Not all karma has to be as spectacular as this...but it gives us something to shoot for!

Good Luck to everyone above! LSi7s--a nice addition to anyone's system!!

Some interesting answers above...I don't know all the answers and am not participating in this karma...but the SL2000--the first tweeter by Polk...not really, not even the second or maybe third or more?

My favorite is it was cool...

When this Karma is over, Doro are you going to provide the answers?

I added some questions for fun and they're sending me more. Eventually you folks should print this stuff out and keep it for historical perspective on your favorite loudspeaker company.

It's pretty neat finding out little stories and factoids right?! :D

One of these days, those RTiA1's might just hit the forums in a Karma. I just have to decide when I'm done enjoying them :)

I would like to be in, if you please.
I am too lazy to dig for answers to the questions, but my semi-educated guess about the 1978-79 Polk Audio product would be the LF-14 subwoofer.
The most salient "facts" about the CobraCables that come to mind is that they were originally called something else (maybe Sound Cables?) and they enjoyed cooking mildly unstable solid state amplifiers due to their relatively high (capacitive) reactance -- driving 'em into self-destructive HF oscillation.

EDIT: I know who Polk's first retailer dealer was;does that count for anything?
