    I just talked to George. No prognosis yet as they are still running a lot of tests. He's still jaundiced and full of edema. At least he seems to be comfortable.

    Keep praying folks, he needs them.

    Edit: George is going to try to get him on-line soon so we'll see.

    From what Joe describes are the symptoms, it all points to Liver. Liver problems cause Jaundice and can easily cause edema (blood not flowing through liver right)

    The Liver can be a remarkably resilient organ though (as those at Polkfests can attest). Hoping for a bounceback here.....a fast bounceback.

    Pancreas problems also cause juandiced skin/whites of the eyes.

    I've had acute pancreatitis twice and was near death but I didn't get jaundiced. I'm pretty sure it is his liver.
