    Coy.........

I was golfing last weekend and got paired up with a group and one of the guys was a flaming homo that when the weather warmed up, took off his long sleeved shirt and had a short belly shirt on underneath.....none of this really relates to your tat, but what does is that he had 2 large coy almost kissing and it was a really big tramp stamp on his lower back that was always visible when he was taking his shot.........sorry.....just remembered that from your tat............lol.....

Nice tat, I'm still drawing out my half sleeve that I've got up in the works for the future (would do full but that could conflict with future employment opportunities).

If you get one on your back like I've got one, wait til they hit your spinal cord...thats when it hurts! :D

Exactly why I don't have one on my back:D

I have almost full sleeves. Plan on getting the untouched skin finished someday. It has taken years actually. I still love the first one I got 25 years ago. Recently added a lotus blossom and some water to my forearms.

As an aside, I work in IT and wear long sleeve shirts even in the summer. No need to frighten the natives. Although once people realize I'm not gonna bite, the tats don't seem to bother them.

    Thanks.

And yes. It's Koi. Not Coy.....:p

That picture is a lot brighter and colorful than the actual Tat.

I took another pic that I'll upload in a minute thats a little further away. I think the flash up close made it look different...

I absolutely love it. And I already want more.:D

Nice, see I did had a rough draft drawn for a full sleeve with an entire timeline/etc but I would only go that far if I landed a good job elsewhere back home (northern cali) where wearing long sleeves wouldn't matter. In Chicago, you'd hate to even wear a shirt during the humid season here.

And Nik, its just like audio....once you get your first tat, you'll want more :p

Hey Blue. Mine aren't damage. I designed each one and trusted an artist to bring them to life. Each one has a meaning to me. And I am proud to tell anyone who asks what they are. Two of mine are a story of my Mom and Dad. A red and gold dragon (Dad) around and small purple and green dragon (Mom). Both were wise individuals and Dad was her protector.
    They are with me forever.

Why would anyone want to put a picture of a carp on their arm? Just sayin'...

    It symbolizes love and friendship.
Or maybe he just likes carp.
Koi are highly prized fish in the Japanese culture and quite valuable.

Either way, tatoos are a very personal form of expression. Either you get it or you don't. Most don't and that's ok.

For me, tattoos are exactly like sex! Oh? You don't see the connection? Well ... er ... : I ain't gettin' any, ... never have, ... never will ... :o

... Okay, so I'm j/k, but no: I have not, and am not going to get any tattoos. I just don't like them as a form of expression, or what they sometimes stand for. When overdone, I find them quite repulsive, in fact, and have sometimes wondered if that was probably the whole point from the perspective of the wearer.

Sometimes, that is exactly the point. There are people in the world I would just rather repulse than have to deal with. Tats can kinda sort them out.:D;)
