Only thing I'm missing is a good sound setup , if only I could have a svs 1000 watt sub right here
It'll come, just stay focus on the subject and dream at hand no matter what, lots of good people here will lead you down the right path in due time, simply keep focused! Suggestion, I think this thread has expired (all that's related to the OP has come to past), why don't simply move back to your speaker thread, start moving your speakers around and report your results for people to help you furthermore?

    Cheers & good night all!

No wonder your so bright. Watching Netflix all day must be real educational. Maybe if you did some work you could afford a good sub. However, putting a good sub woofer on a pedestal is a waste of a good sub woofer. Employees like you are a chronic problem in the work place and hurt companies image and payroll.
You always say things that make you out to be a fool. You even put yourself down. If you don't get it I'll help you out. Re-read what you just posted and tell me if anyone should respect you.

who said I work for some company or I'm on some ones payroll?

And, his rig sounds way better than yours. You'd be an idiot to think the SDAs sound less than the RTi8s. Essentially all you are admitting is that you waste money on inferior gear that you can't setup properly. Enjoy your **** show. Ignorance is bliss, ain't it Slow?

You spent about 4k on your seating correct? That kind of seating is going to waste with such a poorly set system. I mean you don't even have your speakers setup the right way, and you yourself are not exactly running anything LSi. You don't even have a seperate 2 channel listening setup or any such things so I don't see why you would bash on someone else who simply cared to share their current and/or past gear that they've owned and listened to. You JUST stepped up from a HTIB, you are and have been missing out on quality audio for god knows how long and that's just a damn shame.

Also might I add, my SDA's will blow your speakers away....'nuff said :D

I sense a thread closure and I wanted to be sure that I had at least 1 post in it, hate to break a perfect record. Here is some advice Slow simply tell Patrick that you want to delete your nic here and start a new one. I know that some of the stuff that was said here by others was over the top but the fact is you are never going to get the respect you feel you deserve with this nic, you have alienated many with your off the wall comments in many threads and people are slow to forgive or forget.

Here is a couple recent examples of this

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

    What!?

The gear that Nik posted would absolutely tear your gear apart. Your entry level Onkyo, with entry level RTi series speakers are NOT anything special. I run almost the same setup...it's not really that badass. It is what it is...entry level.

Dated 2 channel analog? How do you figure that 2 channel analog is dated? It's still the primary format for all music. There are very few music releases that are actually in multi-channel.

You have a LOT to learn about this hobby dude...seriously...

nik - after looking at your gear... I hate you :p

Slow- Who cares how much you spent on your seating. Your stuff is entry level. You spent thousands of dollars to sit in front of a mediocre at best system. What's really funny is that your seating depreciated about 90% the instant you bought it. Unlike good audio gear your furniture has absolutely no resale value. What you did was the same as getting Ferrari and then equipping it with 4 spare tires.

I think you should have probably done more research and respected the opinions of others on this forum. Instead you showed a great deal of disrespect to everyone who graciously came to your aid when you had questions. Everyone gave their ideas, and you quickly shot more questions without even contemplating the answers. You're lucky anyone wants to talk to you at all now considering your attitude towards the members of this forum. That just goes to show the type of people we have here. It would behoove you to try to be complacent with the rest of this crowd, or you can please find another forum to troll.
