Rti8s! Haha . . . I love those speakers, seriously. They were my babies two years ago. Have you tried angling them out a bit? The Toe-in looks so severe that your soundstage has to suffer.
You should really get some separate amps and a tube pre with an HT bypass. You're not hearing half of what you could from those speakers. -

You have an insane amount of toe-in on those RTi8's!!
I'd try turning them back out some. Toe them in just enough so that the tweeters fire past your ears and intersect right behind your head.
It might not hurt to turn a light on or something while you're taking pictures. Just saying...The nirvana inducer-

If you are talking about those speakers near the top of the screen, I believe those are setup as presence speakers. Presence speakers are fed generated ambience (reverb and early reflections that weren't in the original recording) in order to simulate a larger room.
Looking at the speaker placement in that room, I've lost even more respect for you slowpolky. I think for most here, this seals the deal that you can't be trusted to know anything about audio. Your opinions are worthless from here on out. -

The couch is split into 2 with the fxi3 on the back wall. I usualy put the rti6 at each side of the section of the couch that faces the pj screen, I took some shots of killzone on the panasonic to show its blacks with this screen. I think i moved the camera with these shots as evidant. The couch has bmw seat motors inside them so they arent going to burn out anytime soon
