That's just it, I still have the cub scouts camp thing on the 7th and 8th--if I didn't that is exactly what I would do.

    hey, I share everything...........

I am pumped, dont be shocked if something jumps out of the rabbit hole for this one, Its Polkfest and its ALL GOOD.....

honestly guys, Troy's fests are the best, it's an all out non-stop assault on audio, good times, and you just never know what else or who might pop in.......but there will be suprises, as we say in South....guaaaaaranteeeed. If you have only been to the factory fests which are no doubt awesome the ones in the member's homes are totally different, you just got to go to understand.

All you gotta do is show, all the goodies, swag and drink is taken care of, help BDT spend some of that Government Money he has squeezed tight on.

Cool. Are you bringing the Cube?

was debating bringing the Mustang, but I'd rather not worry about parking it the whole weekend, so yes.....the Cube will be in attendance (or, as I call her, Milly)

    ***TRAVEL ALERT***

From the official lineup I may be the only one affected...but I just want to let everyone that may be driving from West/North of Tennessee (TN, KY, OH, AK, IN, etc) that there is a major road closing. Anyone directed to take I-40 across the Appalachian Mtns. to get to I-26 down to Charleston needs to know that stretch of I-40 between Newport TN and Asheville NC is completely closed and will be for at least 4 months due to a massive rock slide. DO NOT take the detour out of Newport as it will be a very slow and crowded 2 lane road over the mountains. Take I-81 up towards Bristol/Johnson City and catch I-26 there. It adds exactly 50 miles to the trip but should only add about 40 minutes of travel time since it is all interstate with mostly 75 mph speed limits.

I might could squeeze in. There's no way I could miss two in a row, I'd have to turn in my audiophile card.

Seriously, I'll be there if only for a brief time. Trying to work it out right now to be there for the entire event but with the economy the way it is.......work comes first. I have a mouth to feed, after all. I'll know more tomorrow. I apologize for not getting back to you sooner.

Looking forward to seeing you folks again! ;)

I hope you guys have a great time, and keep it grassroots. Gonna miss you guys, although I may just put some salted meat in a bandana and hobo it up there.

Troy, I've got a box of goodies headed your way tomorrow, I don't have much left anymore, but I want to support you guys with something.

    Cheers,
    Russ

It's not about me Lou, I've been an **** for a long time, like I said, just keep it grassroots, and remember what it's ALWAYS been about - the love of good music, good friends, good food, and POLK loudspeakers.

    Cheers,
    Russ

For anyone who cares (or not) I heard from Bruce (Tour2ma) and he won't be able to make it.

I don't know who is going to tweek all the gear an inch here or there.

Does anyone have any Deee-Lite, Seatrain or Hamilton Loomis music you could bring. PF at Troy's just won't be the same without some of stuff that playing at full tilt....

Shack, go pick up Flim and the BB's. I heard Bruce will holographically appear in front of SDA's when you play it.
