    i will be getting them on in the next couple days. Mom just left for home and i need to spend some quality time with them before getting them put on...

    Those look great, I am new to the site, and wish I had been on here earlier!! These are really nice looking plates, I am glad you were able to help out so many Polk's in need of a facelift. I know my 1.2TL's would benefit nicely. Please put the word out if you ever decide make another batch...you got one guy over here that would sign up.

    I have had a few pm's about doing another run.

    I do how ever need to make this clear as this was a one time deal at this cost. This was a favor (karma if you like) to the guys here. I can't and won't do another run at $65 a set, as the time and effort it takes to get them done.

    I did this run at almost cost so those of you that got in on this BE HAPPY!!!

    any of you can take your plates to any sheet metal shop and give you a quote, and you will see what a deal this really was. unless of course you know somebody that does this kind of work.

    Hey Larry,
    Great Point, I would not expect the deal to be the same as the mass run you did. You put the man hours into this project and should not feel you are working for nothing. I didn't even see that they were only $65. Wow, that really was an incredible deal!

    Anyways, I hope you consider another run even at a higher price. Everyone would be shocked at a quoted price from a metals shop, especially for only a couple pieces.

    Glad to hear there is more interest from others, hopefully we can use our jedi mind tricks and get you to consider another run...ha ha

    The room is a man cave and is the biggest room available in the house at 22x33.
    It's upstairs I have it to myself. In comparing some of the variables in positioning,
    I find that the SDA's sound improves with a deep room.

    Anyone that has a good original face plate for a 1.2TL, please PM me. My left channel looks good, but the Right channel has lost it's finish. That is the way I bought them, I figure it's from sun exposure at sunset in the house from my previous owner's. If you have a fix, I am interested!

    Larry, no worries if you do indeed make another run I will still jump on board. I really like the red finish with black handles.

    My plates were delivered today. I just finished opening up package and the plates look GREAT. I intend to get them put on in the next few weeks. I will post pictures when I've finished installing. I sincerely appreciate your efforts in making these available to us. Denny

    I was able to change my plates this afternoon. Even though my original plates were in very good condition - I really like the appearance of the new plates with the brass color. I have attached a couple of photos. As others have said - thank you Larry for going to the effort of making these plates available to us. Denny

    Another run of these is not in the near future, Not because I don't want too. It's having the time to do so, and the cost to do them now I believe would shy most people away. "If" I do them again I will just make a few sets and post them for sale...
