This is a really good thread......and it gives me hope to read some of your comments.

Check out Sir Francis Bacon, Adam Weishaupt, & Albert Pike for some influential people in US history.
Look up the New World Order, The Council On Forgein Relations, The Trilateral Commission and The Bilderberg Group.
Now, with a world currency they will be a recognized international elite rather then one hiding behind the curtain.

Power is no longer in our elected. The two parties only create the illusion of choice. Regardless of party, the elites agenda remains the same, and the politicians job is to get us to go along.
The president is a puppet - and has been for a very long time. The global elite know no boundaries and have been trying to secure our country as a base of operations. Their success was greatly increased with the New Deal.

Novus Ordo Seclorum - The New Order of the Ages - written on the back of the one dollar bill - and has been since Franklin Roosevelt (32nd degree freemason) had his treasury Secretary (also a 32nd degree freemason)put it there.

Everyone should get some food stored and make sure they stay healthy to get through what is happenning.......no one wants to go to a FEMA camp.

The difference between our country and all others is that we have a constitution, a legal precedent by which the government is supposed to work for the people. Right now, it is not.

    May god bless us all

Never seen or read the DaVinci Code..........

But I have read Morals and Dogma by Albert Pike.........if you would like to read it - here is the pdf. If you would like other books to learn about the subject, I also recommend the writings of Manley P Hall.

I agree on most of what you said here... though perhaps a but over the top, but you are right about our leaders no longer serving those they were elected to represent. Those that have read the federalist papers of Thomas Jefferson know what he had to say on the subject. To quote him today would mean being arrested and charged as an enemy combatant:eek:

    Thomas Jefferson...

We hold these truths to be sacred & undeniable; that all men are created equal & independent, that from that equal creation they derive rights inherent & inalienable, among which are the preservation of life, & liberty, & the pursuit of happiness; that to secure these ends, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed; that whenever any form of government shall become destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, & to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles & organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety & happiness.

    Awesome!

This is exactly what I wanted to see in here.. some non bashing thoughts from very intelligent people stating what their thoughts were about our country. Bravo!

I for one, would love to do something... anything... to break the political trends that we have. What do we (I) have to do to get rid of the parties as we see them? I know we are talking years and decades to possibly move past the partisanship, but I think for us as American's to truly survive this century, something has to happen and quickly.

I know I am willing to make a difference... are you?

I am willing to vote the **** out and start over... maybe we could start a vote for the other guy campaign. If you are an incumbent, you are GONE! I dont care about what party they are, just vote em out. and we also need to vote our beliefs rather than against them... if you are against abortion dont vote democrat. for **** marriage, vote democrat... bottom line here is to forget the party line bs and just sack the whole lot of them.. in this way we send a signal that the party's over on our dime. if we had 535 new members of congress in two years that would send a powerful message that we really do run the show...

I would like to get rid of the R and D after their names, divides people.Have 2 represetatives from each state in congress, thats it.Presidential elections should be 4 or 5 candidates, given x amount of money each by the government to spend on campaigning,no donations from corporations,or private individuals. No electorate,no super delegates, straight up,most votes wins.Sound good?? No way in hell you'll get that passed.Like I harped before, once you give up power, you won't get it back.Money is power, the more they take, the less power you have over your life as evident in recent developements.

great point on the money part, the rest is just plain impractical.. the R/D thing I do agree with, but the best way to actually do anything about it is to quite literally "overthrow" the **** by voting them out every two years. if every american could forget the R/D thing and simply pull the lever for the other guy the entire congress would be out on their asses and a new bunch that knows we will do it again the next time would take notice... And Thomas Jefferson could rest in peace:rolleyes:

agreed, but at least now they are listening... the 100million that is. And all a movement needs to get started is the seed. Is there anyone here that is a web designer? We set up a sack the **** website, let Bill O'riely know about it and the next thing there is a firestorm, then Hannity picks it up and so on and so on and so on....:cool:

and with a congressional approval rating in the low teens, I don't think it would be much of a stretch to think it could have a huge impact, but again I could be dreaming...

I expressed most of these thoughts earlier in this thread. Get rid of parties. Severely limit campaign contributions, ban lobbying. One more thought.....we have a law here in British Columbia called recall. If any provincial representative is perceived as being incompetent a petition can be launched where if enough signatures are collected a recall vote will be held. A bi-election of sorts. It has successfully removed one politician from office since it was legislated in the late 90's.

It seems to me there was lot more flag waving during the previous administration. Now that it's gone to the left, the "revolutionists" are coming out of the woodwork.

I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

No revolution here, just doing what is asked for in the constitution. and if you can point out just ONE example of the President firing the head of a privately held company, let me know. If you can find ONE example of a president taking control of so much of the private sector in one fell swoop, again, let me know. The actions taken by this president so far have been grossly over the top and to the left that it's scary, and every american shoult be puuling their heads out of their collective asses and seeing what has happened... I do believe the best way to send a message is to vote out every sitting member of the House of representatives and then do the same with the senate when their terms are up...

Sorry Sami did not want to sound like I was speaking directly at you, and I understood the quotation marks. Just a general comment that many "have" taken the position of just accepting things as the way it is, or whining about it to everyone at work, on the bar stool next to them, etc. but not many actually try to do something about it. The two party system is broken. The litmus tests for both parties
keep out most reasonable people. Abortion is one such test.
And how many of us are directly affected by this issue?
Darn few. Yet it is directly responsible for who gets nominated.
Along with a couple of other "must haves".
The election with Perot in the debates threw both sides into chaos.
They were forced to talk about the real issues. Not point fingers and dance.
I've been voting for free thinkers lately. Even if I don't fully support their
views, sooner or later the R&D guys are going to have to notice
more and more of us are tired of the system as it stands today.

Not that it makes any difference in reality, but the world would know that the American Spirit is alive.

We should try to have a huge symbolic rally, People all around the country, gather together (maybe several locations per state) everyone in the crowd stands tall with their right hand raised and they all take an oath:

"I do solemnly swear that I will to the best of my ability; preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, both foreign and domestic."

Now how do we go about making this happen?
For my part, I will contact the Campaign for Liberty to see if they would be interested in using their network of people to get the word out.

    http://www.campaignforliberty.com/

We will need judges to administer the oath.
We will need press, maybe even take out advertisements if they won't run the story.
