Yes, from time to time they had decent stuff at decent prices. I never had a problem with CC.

Hmmm, CC may open back up online. If they do will you buy anything from them?

Maybe, we will have to see if Systemax' prices and CS are any good. They just bought the name, it won't be run by Circuit City.

I've never had any problem with them either. But this is a tough one for me because I got to know a lot of the web staff that worked for their forum. They're almost all without work at this point and the guys at the Virginia Headquarters were a very talented and bright group. It's a shame! So we'll see.

I worked for Circuit City for 3 years, back in the good old days when we made money on what we sold and knew what we were talking about. I will shop a CC if they go online because I hate best buy with a passion. CC was good to me, I will always back them up.

It looks like CC may be turning out the way Compusa did after Tiger Direct picked them up. I liked Compusa fine before they went under as a brick and mortar store and have since bought from them since becoming a virtual store. The same with CC if they turn out that way.

I do like the option of returning a product locally if there's a problem but unfortunately it seems that the tradeoff is paying a higher price (and in most cases sales tax). I'd buy from them if the deal was good enough.
