Man, they had some A9's this week. I was going to buy a pair tomorrow (pay day), but of course they are gone now, just my luck, bummer...:(
They have the A7's currently, and i wanted those originally, so now i'm debating just getting those. -
polkdirect usually have more in stock and they probably will list a9's again soon.
If you really want a9's i suggest u wait few days and see whats up.I am 100% BORN DEAF and No I am not kidding! Why am I here? My wife's hearing!

LOL I want black ones..:p -
I see the Monitor line represented on there often enough, but do they ever have 40s?
And if not, what could I get that would match with a CS1, PSW10 and Monitor 30 surrounds (also using 30s as fronts atm)? Was it the TSi line that replaced the Monitors? -
I'm looking at adding two more surround speakers and looking at the LSiF/X that are currently listed. I currently have a pair of RTiA9s and FXi A6s to go with the CSi A6. Would I be better off waiting for another pair of the FXi A6s or should I snatch up the LSis before it's too late?

FROM MY UNDERSTANDING LSI FXI DOESNT MATCH RTI A9, U WILL NEED BUY FXI A6 TO MATCH YOUR SPEAKERS.
IF YOU WANT TO BUY FXI A6 NOW, I SUGGEST AMAZON THEY HAVE GOOD PRICE FOR IT
CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG!! :d
EDIT: SORRY FOR THE CAPS, SOMETHING WRONG WITH MY KEYBOARDI am 100% BORN DEAF and No I am not kidding! Why am I here? My wife's hearing!

Go with another pair of the FXi's. The LSi series has a much different sound than the RTi's and probably wouldn't blend to well.
By the way...Welcome to Club Polk.

Give them a call I got impatient on waiting for the RTi A5's to come up on Ebay so I called last Friday and they are currently on there way to my house now. -
If anyone is looking for RTi A9's, they have two pairs in Cherry that are not listed on there website. And the guy also told me that they update the ebay store twice a month on the 1st and 15th. So you guys are definetly right, calling is the best bet.
-
Yup I heard the same thing. They put items up only twice a month. Was able to order my RTi A5's, CSi A6, and RTi A3's. They apparently only have a few A5's, some A3's, and a decent number of CSi A6's (in black anyway). Calling is definitely the way to go.

wow. terrific prices. Plus polk has the best service when needed!
-
I called on the FXi A6's they did not have any in stock. i need 2 pair.
-
I just called and was told that they can only process items that have already been listed on ebay and that they are not aware of what is coming up in the future.
Is there a specific person that you guys have been talking to? -
I don't remember who I spoke with this morning, but I called the 1-800 377-7655 and pressed option 3 and asked about refurbished products and if I could buy it over the phone.
Hooked myself a CSi A6 for the buyitnow price.

Did you order a pair?
No i didn't, if they had them in black i was gonna say screw it and put the difference on a credit card, worry about it later sort of deal haha. But since they only had the cherry ones i'm just sticking with the A7's i ordered. They shipped out today so that's a plus, and they will tide me over until i finally do get some A9's (which i will eventually). Luckily considering i sold my 10's, i didn't pay all to much out of pocket for the A7's, so even if they are only marginally better, at least my whole system is RTi A's, which makes me happy, the A7's look much better then the 10's. Plus the XPA-3 i'm going to get should help quite a bit.
I'm still excited and can't wait for these things to arrive.
We'll see how long i keep them before i decide to sell them for some A9's lol. -

Well i called this morning, and they had 2 pairs of refurbished cherry RTi A9's, and i had the option to buy them as well. Seems kind of odd some of us have different experiences when calling them. -
Just called and no rti a9's are left.

Holy crap! You guys were right! I wish I had known this before, I would have had my speakers a long time ago!
After diligently checking the Polk direct store on eBay every day for the RTi A3's and CSi A6 I've been wanting, I read this thread and called. Kim helped me out and did an AWESOME job -- at first he said there were no refurbs, but he kept checking and found refurbs in San Diego -- they will be shipped today or tomorrow!
I was on the verge of buying RTi6's and a CSi5 off eBay, but now I'm getting the RTi A's I really wanted, and the whole lot only cost me $450 -- incredible!
If anyone's looking for CSi A6 - they have 6 cherry ones in San Diego as of 4:30 EST on 1/20 -- they only have the RTi A3's in Black, so I went with black on everything so they'd match -- I LOVE the cherry, but my speakers are in a cabinet anyway so it won't really be too big of a deal...
Caligula86 and metal83 -- try calling back and getting the representative to look a little deeper -- like I said at first I was told they didn't have any refurbs, but after looking and making a call to San Diego, Kim found them. Good luck! -
Yeah Phil helped me out with my order of the A5's. I guess they only had Cherry A6's. I asked him to check if they had black ones

Wow it seems so weird that people are getting such varied responses from Polk -- not only did Kim tell me they sold refurbished over the phone as soon as I asked, he actually volunteered to do more legwork and find me the refurbished products I was looking for. Later I called and talked to Kyle who confirmed my order -- he was also extremely friendly and helpful, and didn't sound at all surprised that I was purchasing refurb products over the phone.
It seems as though some of Polk's sales reps need some training to bring them up to speed -- so many here have bought refurbs over the phone that to have some of thier sales reps saying they only sells refurbs online seems pretty silly... -
