Just to confirm -- would the CSi A6 be a good match with RtiA 5s (fronts) and RtiA 1s (rears)?

FYI - give them a while to break-in before giving them a full evaluation. They initially lack bottom end and IMO makes them sound overly bright (obviously still a bright speaker).

From my understanding the A6 is very similar to the 5. The biggest difference is in the aesthetics.

I would say that you would not be getting much 'upgrade' value in going from a CSi5 to a CSiA6.

If you had said CSi3 to CSiA6 -then yes, that would be a step up - although probably not a 'huge' one.

You are already at the top of the older RTi line for center. The newer RTiAx series are improved, but IMO - you may not get much of a step up to the CSiA6.

    Hey Guys,

I think with the Polk Ebay store you have to pay State Tax and shipping.
The Shipping on the RTiA7 and A9 are close to $160.00.

so the refurbished lsic is 399 + 20 shipping from polkdirect, or a new one is 499 with free shipping from amazon.

i'm just building my first setup and i've never bought from polkdirect before, so i'm wondering how beat up the stuff they sell there is. i know it still comes with a warranty and all that, but if it's going to be pretty scuffed or the grill is going to be torn or whatever, maybe i'll just spend the extra $80 and get it new in box.

how have your experiences with polkdirect been?

So far all the speakers I got have been like new-I mean like Brand spankin new. Not a dang thing wrong. I bought an I-Sonic which had apparently been used but, speakers have always been top notch.

Anyone out there have any opinions or experience with the PSW1000? I am looking to get a sub (don't have one) to go with my RTi12 and CSI5. It looks like I can get one for $400 plus shipping from Polk Direct. Would this be the best use of my $400 for a sub, or would the $400 be better spent elsewhere?

    Thanks.
