Judging by the fact he's still unloading gear in the flea market for this trip....

Let's ask the Magic 8 Ball.

"Will he go through with it?"

If in fact he does go through with the meeting , it would be nice to see what she looks like...for the sake of the thread.

He should be able to give us a link to her online profile.

If it doesn't work out for him, I've got a couple of Russian gals who are emailing me wanting a fine US husband. They want me to know they are very good girls with only 3 or 4 kids each and not to worry about the people who are trying to kill them

I got the pregnant, med-student, and rape victim.....was she really an ex- stripper too

Med-student ex-stripper...now, that would be something. However, I don't recall anything in this thread mentioned about an ex-stripper. Big AD can correct me if I'm wrong, though

I'm wondering if folks have conflated the woman in this thread with the woman in a different thread that was circulating a few months ago

No, not at all. As I mentioned in an earlier post, both individuals, IMO, have basically fantasized a relationship out of this and are nothing more than "chat buddies."

I just wanted to point out that it seemed strange that she had suddenly morphed into rape-victim med-student ex-stripper, that's all...

    Remember that this isn't reality,. . it's da inner-net.

"Raped" and "pregnant" is often code for "I'm young, pregnant and easy so I don't really know who the father is. The "med student" part is often code for nurses assistant certificate school. . . to make it seem like she's going somewhere other than the couch or the wellfare line. (I'd love to know where she matriculated, and into whose program she's been admitted) It's more likely that she's in a Sally Struthers school.

    Dude. DUDE!

One question: Do you really not like yourself THAT much that you would willingly jeopardize your quality of life to try to make it work with this hot-mess-of-a-girl whom you've never met? If so, you should see a shrink. Seriously.

By the way, she thinks you're too much of a pushover to ever leave her even if she cheats while you watch her baby.

Get your **** wired straight, and walk away.

Well it has been about 2 months sense I have meet Heather on eharmony and things are going great. I have never felt this way about ANY girl before. We communicate very openly about everything from our past present and future. We have been talking for about 6 hours just about everyday. And I wouldn't trade it for anything. When we are at work of not talking with each other we think of one another and how much we miss the other one. I am wondering if I have found the one the one that I want to spend the rest of my life with. I am wondering is this what love is. Happy open communication between partners and enjoying life while doing it. What do you think, comments advice all welcome.

    It will wear off eventually......

Yeah, tell her you changed it to like Captain Thunderpants or something and tell here you'll pay for the cover up tattoo to cover you old, lame name so she can get this new, supremely awesome name!

This girl is going to need A LOT of therapy. As with most rape victims she will not be able to deal with a normal relationship. The baby will always remind her of what happened and she will have a love hate relationship with it. If she gives it away for adoption she will have issues with that also.

The best thing you can do for HER is to not give her any indications that you are seriously interested in her(unless you are), and to quickly but gently ween yourself off of her so she is let down gently.

The last thing she needs now is for another man to ruin her life. Either step up to the plate(not a good idea) or end it before she gets hurt again.

    Baggage? THAT'S an understatement!

Watch yourself dude and if you do sleep with her, wrap the hot dog before you put it in the bun. Girls that are shady often hide more than just emotional baggage. Don't want to end up with a surprise gift that keeps on giving.

Funny story about that. Had a friend who slept with a chick and got a "rash" a few days later. He asked her what it was all about and she said it was from "a chemical imbalance and they were incompatible...chemically". What's worse is that the moron believed it. Not much he could do about it since the deed was done and he gets to do all the cool stuff in the Valtrex commercials 'cause according to those things, it looks like awesome amounts of fun to have herpes. The REALLY bad part is that he didn't know what it was until 2 other girls he slept with called him and told him they had it too and they got it from him 'cause they hadn't been with anyone else.

Classic story, but at the same time sux for your boy.

I would say live together for a year or two before you tie the knot. I recommend that to anyone. that way you know what her morning face looks like and you can get a true idea of what it will be like when your married. Trust me. I and my wife dated for 6 or 8 months and then she moved in and we live together for two and a half years before we got married. We already had the tuff times over with by that time and we had no more problems to deal with. Most people that don't live together before they get married struggle those first two years of their marriage. This way if you live together you get those times done and over with.
