I foresee tunes in your future OB1. It's too early for a congrat's, so for now.....Good luck!~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~

Does the rig get a partial set-up while you move in or do you wait until you're all done?
Either way, grats on the new purchase. -

Are you kidding? Yes, a full setup. And, if it doesn't sound good? Hey, it burned down because of some electrical connection, no, I don't know what happened...

I will actually have everything delivered on the 28th and the first thing I will do is set up the audio system in the great room. I think it will sound great! The room is 16x22, 25' ceilings, the system, a chair, maybe a few trees. #1 priority. Once the system is complete I'll make sure the bed is set up. After that, the kitchen. Hey, if I have to order in food for a few days then that is how it will be. This house is my audio haven as far as I see it. I should have plenty of room to do what I really want which is audio. I'll worry about everything else later when I have time. This is cool, my last audio room was 11x16 and was my main living space. I should have room for several rooms like that.

Great news. Now you can finally set up your rig and hear it sound better than ever since you've been away from them for so long.
Take pics when you have them set up. -
Congrats Max. Wishing you a smooth move-in and lots of good times in your new place.:)Proud and loyal citizen of the Digital Domain and Solid State Country!

I'm so jealous. My fiancee and I were looking at houses this summer, had one lined up, and it fell through in the final stages. We have since stopped looking because it was past the date we set to still be looking. Were both about to be in school again and didn't want to undertake the process while in school. We've decided to wait a couple more years...cant wait!
Good luck, hope all goes well!

Northern Colorado. Its a little town next to Fort Collins, about an hour away from Denver.
Luckily they have a pretty good pizza place here.

I had a "Mountain pie" the other day.
I can see the mountains from the back deck and can be in them in about 20 minutes. One day last week I drove the Camaro to work and went into the mountains during lunch. It was awesome! I had almost forgotten how much fun driving can be. Nothing like a good car, a bunch of 180 degree curves, mountains on both sides of you and high performance brakes.

Time to eat those Wheaties and get that pen hand primed.

Everyone dealing with the closing has been freaking out for a week because this is the start of 4 other home sales. I buy one, they buy the next one, someone else gets the next one etc. I was thinking about being 15 minutes late.Vinyl, the final frontier...

Just watch out that your system doesn't sound different at the higher altitude!
Beaujoes is some tasty pizza, but a little too much bread for my tastes. If you're ever down in Golden for any reason (Coors tour?) go to Woody's pizza. Also, have you visited New Belgium brewery (Fat Tire for free on tap!) or the budweiser place? There is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. Nine-tenths of the rights he bellows for are really privileges and he does nothing to deserve them. We not only acquired a vast population of morons, we have inculcated all morons, old or young, with the doctrine that the decent and industrious people of the country are bound to support them for all time.-Menkin -
Congrats Chuck! Post some pictures once you are settled in.Carl

It's actually much worst than that, Big Thomson Canyon is deadly this time of year. Ft. Collins is a way cool college town, and one of my favorite people on the planet, Helen, originally from Brisbane Aus. Lives there with her partner John. uber great gal, I call her my "ray of sunshine from Down Under"!:)
Good luck on the move and all, the front range is a great place to live.

Now I'm a homeowner again! The seller was running late with packing up some things so I gave them another day. Normally they hand you the keys at the closing and thats the end. My movers don't come until monday anyway so no big deal.
