I cannot wait. I loved Casino Royale. This might be the first flick I have seen in the theater in three years. I don't know who the new bond girl is, but she looks smokin hot.

Watched it today. An other very impressive bond flick, and has put a lot of emphasis on building the bonds character. Very recommended

Excellent, I can't wait to see it. I loved CR, they finally got back to storytelling instead of just stunts.

Sounds like this one is the same.

Actually, it's more action/stunts and very fast storytelling. Luv'd it. Fights after fights and the hand to hand fights look very realistic. The car chase scene was awesome. I also luv'd "M".

In summary: This is Bond/Bourne on a whirlwind tour of the world.

Damn, saw this movie last night for my birthday. I gotta say the action was good, but the story was hurtin' bad and riddled with anti-climactic disappointments.

I give two stars out five.

I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. I don't know...I think Ian Flemming would be unimpressed with the current generation of Bond flicks.

With that said, I can't wait to get the Sean Connery movies on Blue-Ray...

I love the new bond actor. He's got a good personality. That being said, there's too much of him with his shirt off and not enough of the women. There's something wrong when a movie about a man's man shows more scenes of a man unclothed than the hot women he has sex with.

There is nothing "Bond" about this movie, he is bitter, angry, and out for revenge.

IMHO, except for some good action sequences this flick could kill the franchise.

In all honesty I don't like Craig as Bond but I did like Casino Royal, Quantum of Solace on the other hand...

The movie booked $70 Millions over the weekend. I haven't seen it yet, but then, I am not a big Bond series, ever since Roger Moore's time. One thing about Bond series, there are always enough hot women, and yet, never really seen any worthy unclothed peek of these talents. Make it a NC-17 and have some hot scenes, will ya?

btw, based on the review here, I might get Casino Royale BD.
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

And call me a prude, but it's that one of the things that make James Bond great?!? I know that when I watch this movie it won't have any nudity, but it will be an awesome action movie with hot women and cool gadgets; a great mixed company movie.

Saw it last night. I thought it was not as well edited as Casino Royale. The fight/action scenes got kind of repetitious and too reminiscent of the Bourne movies. I liked the extended character development, particularly the surrogate mother thing that Bond seems to be developing for M. I was surprised that there was no chemistry, professional or otherwise between Bond and Camille. Their interaction, or lack thereof, was a drag on the story.

Perhaps things needed to be slowed down a bit for explanation purposes and QoS is just a bridge to the next installment when Bond takes down the Quantum organization.

I liked that they tied up the loose ends from CR, but I wish they would have done that in the first 30 minutes. It would have made a more interesting story if Bond had found out earlier what Quantum really did to Vesper. I think his lust for revenge would have been orders of magnitude greater.

Bond is long gone since the Casino Royale. His return is not to be expected as long as Daniel Craig taking the 007 roles and not handing over to someone more charming and charismatic.

Bond has turned from fictional secret service movie to the drama+fighting (Mission Impossible style) sh@t and lost it's value.
