It sure looks as if that idea is going to be 100% wrong. Maybe it was all just a misunderstanding.

Yeah ..they better start answering a lot of questions.

So Starbuck's Daddy composed the 5's mystery music, Hmmmmm. Well I wonder who created them?

I'd say it's likely that Starbuck is in fact the first hybrid human / cylon, and her father is the Daniel that was mentioned by Ellen last week. It would explain a lot.

I'd have to say that the last episode was the worst of the "LAST EPISODES" so far, but still not bad.:D

I can't tell you how 'bored' the medical and legal scene make me. I've never been entranced by the Med or Legal genre! Too pedestrian for me, and too much cheerleading for that sector of our society...when there are a lot of GOOD people besides those who keep this society together and healthy.

But as to Sci-fi, it's an addiction--anyone who grew up around the time of the space race can't help himself there. And this version is so different and so much better than its campy predecessor even if it does have a bit of LAW and Medicine in it as well.

In these times, SciFi is an escape from the fear mongering on 95% of the crap on cable/satellite/internet.

    No ****!

I'm saying that it's bringing in people like me, a 41 yr old, that HATED "Star Trek" (as an example) growing up. Watching even some of my favorite dramas/comedies has been hard to do with all the dribble and propaganda being written in to the dialogues.

Guess what, noone likes real War, especially the ones that are actually doing the fighting and it sickens me to see/hear all the "subtle" or not so subtle anti-military crap that seems to have found it's way into 80+% of today's entertainment on cable/internet.

Using the war was just one example of the crap/fear mongering being force fed to most of us in today's media(whatever type you want to mention). So the escape to Sci-Fi has become even more prevalent than ever, imo.

Anyway, Friday's episode was better and I'll bet that Boomer ends up changing her effed up mind again, about Hera and the Chief, and takes out Cavell

Series finale tonight. I can honestly say I've never anticipated a finale as much as I am anticipating the end of this show. Should be amazing.

Its gonna be tough to tear myself away from March Madness games, but I think I might just watch this one live (or at least a little time delayed so I can skip through the commercials). I anticipate a huge bowl of popcorn in my lap. I just hope they don't leave us with a bunch of frakking questions unanswered.

I'd say most of the series' questions have already been answered. The two episodes a few back, especially the one where Anders was just talking for the entire episode explaining the origin of Cylons, explained a giant part of the show's mythology.

In fact, I'll just steal the list of main questions from my favorite television writer, Alan Sepinwall, from this writeup from part one of the finale (last week's ep).
...with only two hours (really, around 90 minutes plus commercials) of the series remaining, I wanted to look back on that list of questions I asked Ron Moore in the wake of "Revelations" and see how many have been answered and how many are still hanging over the finale:

•: The identity of the final Cylon? Check. (Ellen)

The origin and nature of the Final Four and how they're different from the rest of them? Check. (See "No Exit")

The origin of the rest of the skinjobs? Check. (ibid)

What happened to Earth and what happened to the 13th Colony? Check. (op cit)

Who, if anyone, is orchestrating all of this? Maybe? (Moore said this one wouldn't be wrapped up in a bow, so we could read this as Cavil, or as the Final Five, or as a figure or force yet to be revealed in the final two hours.)

Will "All this has happened before and it will happen again" be explained in some way? Maybe? (Again, we could interpret that as involving the cycle of human-on-Cylon violence, or there's something more at work.)

The opera house? Still waiting on this one.

What happened to Kara when she went through the Malestrom? Still waiting on this one.

Identity and nature of the "head" characters? Still waiting on this one.

Tigh and Six's baby, and whether that means Cylons can breed? Mostly resolved in "Deadlock."

The fate of Boomer and whether there are other 1's, 4's and 5's floating out there? Check.

Roslin's health? Pretty much check, as I don't see her walking away from the finale, one way or another.

Can Moore answer the remaining questions, provide satisfying endpoints to the remaining characters, and deliver a good mix of action and drama over the final episode? I've got faith.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

It was a fitting end to the saga. I knew Boomer would redeem herself.

Looks as though there will be two spinoffs or one and a movie. "Caprica", which we've heard about for a while, and "Battlestar Galactica...The Plan"

Overall I was happy with how everything turned out, I think a few of the more major plot points were kind of glossed over, but it was in service of fleshing out the characters more, so I'm fine with it, because the show really is more a character study than a plot-driven story. I think each character got the sendoff they should have.

I was good and I felt a little sad it ended. I thought the end was kinda stretched out and missing some things. I gotta watch it again.

The spin offs should be cool. I'm glad to see that coming. Honestly I didn't want the show to end as it's my favorite show on TV .

Is it possible that Baltar, Six, and Starbuck were not angels, but rather Gods themselves... I thought this might be a bit of reference to the trinity in christianity.

perhaps she was the child of Baltar and Six, thus making her the first hybrid. her childlike qualities and confusion a result of still growing up and the reality she was a part of was like a final test given by her parents to see if she was ready to have a world of her own, and over which she is now God...

Now, I don't know about that one, most of the stuff you come up with about BSG I agree with but she was there. If she was any thing she was a ghost or angel what ever you want to call it. What about the whole ''harbinger of death'' thing?

I agree it isn't a clean explanation; like I said in my earlier post I don't particularly think things were wrapped up as cleanly as they could have on that front. But the vast majority of the conclusion to this show was of a spiritual nature; obviously Kara was some sort of ethereal creature, she disappeared in a wide open field, there wasn't much room for ambiguity. Maybe the only way she could do what she had to do was by not knowing her true nature, similar to how the FInal Five all didn't know they were Cylons until it was relevant.
