For those that want something special (read expensive, but worth it), check out http://www.hendersonswharf.com/inn/

It's in historic Fells Point, right on the water with great views of the Inner Harbor/Federal Hill area. It's within easy walking distance to great restaurants and a ton of bars dotting the Fells Point area, which is really a neat area.

Nice looking spot. Wonder what that runs a night. Call me cheap but the airline ticket is a G-note for me alone.

I think that hotel is $200+ a night.

seriously, does any room have to cost $200+ a night? You're paying for the employees wages more than for anything. Do you really need imported Italian marble in the bathroom ? (just an example)

If you're not making every effort to attend this years' Polkfest.....there is something wrong with you.

The HQ tour alone is worth the price of admission...which is FREE. You'll also get to meet all the SOB's that have ragged or complimented you and either shake hands or wrestle for dominance.

I will personally be displaying my privates until the Police are notified. After I'm hauled away, Russman will immediately pick up the slack and display his private stash of electronics and tubes. We're hoping that Polk Paul DiComo also shows up and WOW's everyone.

Seriously, get off your arse and get to Baltimore on October 17th at the very least. It will be a GREAT event. In 2005, we had live music from resident Polk musicians, The Kluge, and it was a fully catered event, complete with homemade chili containing Matt Polk's blood.....so you can leaves evens smarter thans you is's before.

This years' event looks to top all others, so stay awake Polkies!

    Is it October yet???

Are we going to have a flea market?

I have a pair of leather chaps from my riding days; should I bring them?

    Will we have designated drivers?

    Will we play games?

Can we impersonate other members when we get there?

Will we be allowed to burn some piece of gear?

    Are we there yet????

Well, I gotta tell y'all one thing....I can't wait to see everybody again and meet some more faces I haven't met before. I just perused through the photos of '07 PF and many great memories came back just like it was yesterday. Good tunes, good times, good food, good friends.

Even with the mini-fests going on, man it sure does seem like a long time between events. Lookin' bloody forward to new gear, faces and meeting some of the ladies of the forum and trashing Polk HQ......er, um........visiting Polk HQ.

Anybody know if Matthews house rig is still a possibility?

Can we sent up tents at Polk HQ? Designated camping area?
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks
    Ben
