No way dude. In 2005 we made it to Polk HQ in an hour and 15 minutes and we even got a bit lost on the way.

I'll be there. I believe there should be 1 or 2 others from the Island also.

    Aye, definitely in.
So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

    What is POLKFEST 2008?

Hey Gimpy....add me to the list and possibly Mary. But that will depend on any other wives or Gf's attending. She says she'd like to roll along but understands its a "guy's" thing and adds no disrespect intended to all the women on the forum. But I'm there for sure and looking for a split on the room there.

I'm also wondering about a conference room at a hotel for sampling any rigs or pieces of rigs anyone may bring. I haven't read thru the thread to see if this was mentioned or not.

Just go. It doesn't hurt much after the second day. I have a list of the better Bail Bondsmen in the area and a special fund started for the bail monies. Fake ID's are highly recommended as well as Groucho Marx type glasses/nose & stache.

Take a look in the system showcase and scroll down to all the past Polkfests. You might need to refine your search as everyone of them is onsite.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

There will be about 5-6 females that I know off the top of my head in attendence. I would encourage Mary to attend, as she will have a very good time.

There will be no conference room or hotel setups as that will be handled at the Saturday location. The discussion of what's planned is only preliminary at this point.

    Stop whining and go!

At the last Polkfest at HQ, a ton of people went and all we got were polo shirts...and satellite radio tuners.
