    Yeah I already have Tom Sawyer, why would I want it again. I know it's the master recording, but honestly it should have been there in the first place. I may get Red Barchetta, and Limelight....okay and YYZ. But YYZ is on GH3, so that is kinda lame too.

    Well, let's see you drum YYZ on GH3! ;)

    Anyway, we actually have to wait for Moving Pictures due to unforeseen circumstances, but we are still getting new songs this week. They just haven't been announced yet.

    Looks like this is week's replacement DLC is an indie band called Locksley, which I haven't heard but people say is kind of poppy and reminiscent of early Who and Beatles. (not official from HMX yet, but album cover in PS3 RB store)

    Oh, and something about six new albums.

    Megadeth - Peace Sells...But Who's Buying

    I played a lot yesterday. Had to watch football for a bit and play poker too, so busy day! ;)
    I spent a long time making my character and band logo, but played several cities of the tour. Stopped after unlocking the plane last night. Some fun songs, for sure!

    The RB1 import was added in the Title Update that came out a week or two ago. Just put RB1 in and go to options and there is an menu selection for export. You purchase the key, and it will rip the songs to the hard drive. Takes about 1.5gb. Anybody that wants to play, just shoot me an invite!

    The new official RB2 kit has quieter pads, more rebound, more solid build, kick pedal stays on when you pick it up, and is velocity sensitive. Plus you can ad the cymbal expansion to it. The cymbals aren't mapped as different notes in gameplay but the fills and drum trainer recognize them and will play the right notes. Word did come from HMX that the port on the kick pedal is not for double bass, but will be for high hat pedal in a future update. The pedal that it comes with is also metal reinforced too.

    The Ion DrumRocker has an all metal pedal. It comes with two cymbals and a third can be added. A second pedal can also be added. You can really move the pads around to better positions too. They are supposed to be surprisingly quiet too. And of course the kit can be made into a real electronic kit by adding the brain module to it. I'm probably going to order one this week. I found a site that lets you pay it over three months and has free shipping and a 45-day return policy, so I'll post back when I get it. :cool:

    Have played it a lot, love it, GREAT mix of songs. I have only found one that I despised "Welcome to the Neighborhood" by the Libyans. Ugghh what a horrible song.

    Highlights so far. Interpol's PDA, and Becks E-pro.

    I would say my favorite so far is Fleetwood Mac's Go Your Own Way. Nice driving drums! Beck and Jimmy Eat World were good too. I anxious to unlock Silversun Pickups, Anarchy Club, and Mastodon also, among others. Still only about halfway through the setlist.

    Looks like the 'technical difficulties' with Rush's Moving Pictures album are all taken care of, and the album comes out for download next week, along with these other singles"

    Bad Religion "Sorrow"
    The Cult "She Sells Sanctuary"
    Hot Hot Heat "Bandages"
    Kasabian "Shoot the Runner"
    Sleater-Kinney "You're No Rock N Roll Fun"
    Stone Roses "Love Spreads"

    These songs really sound like a ton of fun!

    Yeah Feelgood is a pretty good release. But I am really sick of Nirvana. And I mean as a band in general. Everytime I hear them on the radio I immediately turn them off. Nothing against the band itself, but they are so overplayed that it makes you want to puke. At least here in Tucson any ways.

    should we go in together to get the ac/dc version and just pay the $5 (i'm assuming $5, since that's what it cost to do the rb1 songs) to import the songs onto our hard drives...and then mail it around to those who paid?

    I have RB for the PS3.

    IGN got the DLC scoop early for 10/28-30.

    Siouxsie & the Banshees "Hong Kong Garden"
    Siouxsie & the Banshees "Kiss Them For Me"
    Siousxie & the Banshees "The Killing Jar"
    Blink-182 "Dammit"
    Silversun Pickups "Melatonin"
    Silversun Pickups "Well Thought Out Twinkles"
    Psychedelic Furs "Pretty in Pink"

    Haven't listen to them all yet, but "Well Thought Out Twinkles" is going to be a ton of fun!

    Also, the 20 free DLC tracks come out on the Nov 4th. Pretty much all indie or lesser known bands, but there are some good ones in there. If it doesn't float your boat, well, they are free and the AC/DC disc comes out the same week. :)

    * The 88 - "Sons and Daughters"
    * Authority Zero - "No Regrets"
    * Between the Buried and Me - "Prequel To The Sequel"
    * The Cab - "Bounce"
    * The Chevelles - "Get It On"
    * The Cocktail Slippers - "Give It To Me"
    * Dealership - "Database Corrupted"
    * Endeverafter - "I Wanna Be Your Man"
    * The Ghost Hounds - "Ashes To Fire"
    * Hollywood Undead - "Young"
    * Kutless - "The Feeling"
    * The Len Price 3 - "If I Ain't Got You"
    * Lesley Roy - "I'm Gone, I'm Going"
    * Opiate for the Masses - "Burn You Down"
    * Semi-Precious Weapons - "Magnetic Baby"
    * Shaimus - "Like a Fool"
    * Thenewno2" - Crazy Tuesday"
    * Tickle Me Pink - "The Time Is Wrong"
    * Underoath - "Desperate Times, Desperate Measures"
    * X Japan - "I.V."

    I love me some Siouxsie Sue. Best addition yet, IMO.
    I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore
