Well my kiddos got me this game for my birthday, and I have to say that it is one of the funnest games I have ever played. Forget the guitar, give me the sticks or the Mic!!

Awesome, see you online sometime! BTW, my roommate and I got inducted into the Hall of Fame tonight. Woot! I think next week we may try to do the Endless Setlist (58 songs in a row). :D

Updated with European DLC info. Some really good ones in there. I am definitely looking forward to Muse, Oasis, Blur, and Pleymo, but I'm sure they'll all be fun.

Oh I know that I read his comments, but still that is a very tough song to play. Just cool watching him.

Much better DLC coming up than the last two weeks...all three will be lots of fun to play. I think Call Me is going to be pretty challenging on vocals. Message in a Bottle and Simple Man, 'nough said. Freaking classic!

so, anyone up for some (PS3) online play? I'm not having very good luck with the RB equipment. I'm having my guitar replaced for the second time and I broke my foot pedal friday afternoon. Props to RB support for replacing all of it for free.

Boo to RB support for sending me a non working guitar the first time around. :(

so how long will it be until someone gets smart enough to make all three platforms interact (PS3, X360, Wii) on the same network?

I know it wouldn't work for a lot of games, but I bet games like RB would work well. :o

I updated the first post with Tuesday's new singles and a preview of the upcoming Cars and Pixies' albums. Zero is going to kick ****, and although I'm in the minority, I think the new Mother Hips tunes will be fun too. I like the song that comes with the game quite a bit.

Great choice for DLC next week. Train in Vain by the Clash is going to be a lot of fun, and I think Sonic Youth and Blondie will be too!

For me I like more of a challenge... Give me more difficulty level 9 guitar songs... I have been starving for stuff for the last few weeks. I think everything this week is level 1-4 for guitar, which is pathetic... At least one of the songs this week it good for drummers who like it hard.

Am I one of the few who love it when the band leader selects "Green Grass"? And then laughs when the bass player decided to play expert because I selected it for guitar and then dies three times at the start of the second guitar solo? I think I average 93% now for the entire song Expert, with a 98% (consistent) on the first solo, and a 90-92% on the second...

Well I think you'll have some fun with the Euro-DLC for next week. The bass for Hysteria is nuts!

I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

I have a 360, and for it, you can go through the Xbox Live Marketplace, or when playing the game there is now an option on the main menu for Music Store, which was added by a patch a couple months ago. I would imagine PS3 is similar. BTW The Cars album this week is a blast! We should be seeing a few songs from Disturbed next week in conjunction with the release of their new album. You can also get two of the tracks free when you preorder the album at Best Buy.

This week we get Disturbed and Jimmy Buffett. I am stoked for the Disturbed (got in on the bestbuy.com preorder deal). The three Disturbed songs are only $.99 each. I've been surprised how much positive response there has been for the Jimmy Buffett. I will probably get them just for when people are over for parties, but it's not my normal cup of tea. I don't mind if they are going to put songs like this out, as long as it's not the only thing that week. Anybody here excited for it? :)

Not sure about Disturbed or Buffett. But I do remember reading an article that was interviewing Harmonix's main guy and he said they were in talks with Tool about adding songs from their collection. If that happens I will be in Rockband heaven.

ign was wrong. The Pixies album comes out on 6-24. Next week is two tracks from Avenged Sevenfold, the first single from the Offspring's new album, and a half-priced track from Crooked X.

Okay so I went to google DLC for Rockband, and I did not see any future downloads. Is Harmonix just doing this on a Week to Week basis? It would be cool to know what is up their sleeves for future DLC.
