    Actually I only needed 1 mid range, one of them was ok. I have an exacto knife in hand and I am going to operate.....wish me luck

    I never seen anything like that. The surrounding rubber on the speaker is twisted.:eek: Is there any way he can unscrew them and cut a hole or something in the surrounding rubber?

    Good luck. Hope you don't have to buy anymore mid's. Maybe polk will send you some free ones if they are damaged.

    Ok, now I have stabbed myself in the thigh with the exacto knife. This is getting to be dangerous work, though I am almost done. Did you know it does not take much pressure to have an exacto blade go into your leg? Lots of blood, but I think I got it in time.

    Success, after almost cutting my leg off, I managed to make cutouts around the screws, they are all sealed up now. Sound great, just wish my leg would stop hurting, oh well.

    Lasreathm Polk did send me 6502s I only had to install 1 so I have one as a spare.
