One of the few posts so far with all (or just mainly) domestics.
And no, I don't want to start anything. I'm just glad when I see someone still driving domestic cars.
I just like having cars with crumple zones roughly the size of most smaller cars.
The chances of me or my family walking away from most average accidents is pretty good. That is worth a few MPG to me....

(and most crash tests are against similar sized cars so don't give me a honda CRX with a 5 star crash rating will do better in an encounter with a full size pickup than any of my vehicles... )

Ranger was sold because it would no longer run, and could not afford to put money into every 2 months Sable if parked because it has no oil flowing to the top end and is for sale, Astro just needs a lower ball joint. -

Are those sliders going to help your plastics at all if you go down?
-CodyMusic is like candy, you have to get rid of the rappers to enjoy it -
There's a ton of variety here... I was actually expecting a lot more civics to be on the list.
'68 beetle here. 5" off the ground (read: go kart / no suspension), flat black w/ dark red sides, 1600cc dual port (fairly stock), 8 spoke empi's. -
92 Volkswagen Passat GL with 260,000 miles on the 2.0 16V motor. That car is my baby and I will own it forever. 07 Rabbit 2.5 four door that has every factory option available except the lower body kit. The Passat has been modified with Oettinger big valve heads, a Neuspeed throttle body, high flow cat, no resonator and a Leistritz muffler. Stock, factory says 130 HP and about the same amount of torque, probably 145 to 150 on the top end now with no change in torque. The only suspension upgrades are teflon/stainless brake lines, German cross drilled rotors to shed heat and Pagid brake pads. The Rabbit will remain bone stock as I purchased it for economy and low emissions, it qualifies as a PZEV in CA."I drank what?" Socrates

Ive been down before on my old yamaha. Of course I had sliders, do they work, yes I can confirm this. Though it depends on type and material used. It also depends on the crash, during a lowside crash where the bike slides from underneath you sure, hi-side crashes are in a different league. I dont plan on laying the MV down, way too much cash. The bike alone was 22k, not including the options I added. The top of the line MV is 48k imagine that. They are worth every penny, and the styling/design is 2nd to none.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!
