    John,

Best of luck. Don't wish too hard for a hot nurse, because, remember there are quite a few male nurses now. Instead of getting large **** and a nice posterior, you may get large pecs and rock-hard abs.;) :D:D:D

Good luck on the surgery, I had mine done in Oct. It seems to have helped alittle with my problems. They cleaned it out and cut some of the mucus portion away. The first night is the worst. Soft foods. After the packing is removed it slowly gets better. It really drains the energy out of you.

    God Bless Jockos

Go see an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist. They'll get a Catscan done and can tell right off. I saw my Catscan and it was clear as day when the Doc pointed to the areas.

The surgery went very well today. Thats the first time I've been put to sleep like that. I remember going into the O.R., the nurse hooked the "Happy Juice" into my IV. I then proceeded to invite all the nurses to the stripclub on Friday Nights for the Male Revue we have. Next thing I knew a nurse was calling my name waking me up.

I look like the Elelphant Man right now. I'm off to pop a "Happy Pill" and hit the bed. The pain ain't too bad. Feels like a bad headache with a burning sensation in my nose.

The packing comes out tomorrow afternoon. OH JOY!

Thanks for the well wishes everyone.

Got me some Oxycodon (thats what the 'script bottle says). Also have to pop an antibiotic twice a day. They work well cause there's very little pain. The pain goes away but I'm not sleepy much at all.

Back to the movies and being lazy! :D

John I'm glad you are having a painless time and oxys will definitely keep you pain free. They didn't have them when I had my surgeries. Just the memory of that pain is keeping me from getting more done. Oxys or not!!!

    Good luck Bro.

that Oxy's serious ****, take the prescribed amout only, and when the pain stops, stop taking them.

    that concludes my lecture :)

seriously though, easy on that stuff, its no joke. its what they give terminally ill cancer patients.

Had a prescription for that last year, and the good thing is that it doesn't give you a "buzz"; it's more, "I have pain", take a pill, then "I have no pain".

.....my "stuff" was Oxycotton (?) or Oxycodeine (?) or Oxy-something; it was the same stuff that Rush Limbaugh got hooked on (and I'm not talking about cheeseburgers), so Ohskigod's advice is good: use as directed, etc.

Heal up fast, wish you luck.

I know guys who've gone through several detoxes and are still hooked cause they can't put the oxys down, these poor bastages take serveral at one time:eek:   . Strong, strong stuff, take only as directed. When the pain is gone get rid of them.

    Good luck Strong,

I was a wuss when I had mine. I had the deviated septum, tonsils out, and tongue shaved at the same time. They packed my nose with some hard wings that kept the nostrils open. The nurse who took care of me over night in the hospital was a HOT latina. But she did not know how to work the med machine so from around 1am until my wife at the time came in at 7am I had no meds. Then my doc gave me tylenol 3 for my meds at home. I lost 15lbs in 4 days because I could not eat or drink anything because the T3 was not strong enough. Your experience will be much better than mine my friend so relax and enjoy the time off.

Excellant advice guys! I've had 3 does of the Oxy since 2pm (right after surgery). The last dose at Midnight was stretched to 6 hours since the last one. The pain wasn't really too bad, but I took it anyway just so I'll know I could get some sleep and have an easier night.

No way I'm getting hooked on that stuff though!

I get the packing out tomorrow afternoon also.

    Ok, it's almost 3:30 am. Just caught the X-Files on Sci-Fi. ;)
