I see the guy with the RTA-15TL's in Seattle (Renton) has dropped his price to $250 (was $300 last week) guess the look-e-looues didn't pan out.

I offered the guy 150 last week for them and he said that a guy was giving him 400 for them. Well, he emails me yesterday and says the guy never showed so he wants to know if I want them. I asked him how much and he hasn't answered yet.

I know nothing about them, are they even worth a look?Up for sale are (2) Nobis DM-3T floor standing speakers. We are selling these for a client and I can't find hardly any information about them online. What I know about Nobis is that they have made a couple very high end tube amplifiers in the past but appear to now be out of business. The amps were German designed, USA made. I can only assume their speakers are probably the same. The top and bottom of these are made out of walnut. All other sides are covered in speaker mesh. The only flaw of these speakers really lies in the mesh, and this may be able to be fixed if you take the speaker apart and realign the mesh over the front, but even as they are, they're beautiful speakers. The mesh only has wrinkles toward the top of the speaker and it is not exceptionally noticeable, since they are all black. Most importantly, they sound incredible. I would describe them as very transparent and and fairly light on the bass, but in a good way. They would probably be ideal for jazz or classical music in a small to medium sized room. Two speakers are for sale here. The other 2 pictured have been sold. These are available for pickup only. They are fairly heavy and are quite tall, but should fit across the back seat of most any vehicle.
