The guy emailed me and said that he was offered 400 for them and to make him a higher offer as the other guy wouldn't know. I said that the 400 was too high and he should take the guy's offer.

$400 isn't that bad of a deal....by my calc the whole sale/ CL price is about $495 (based upon what Hawthorn is selling theirs for, and knowing they only pay 60% of their retail asking $$)

i think the biggest source of used audio/cool stuff is in the central and west coast. A lot of audio equipments are manufactured in that part of the country, too, which obviously lends itself to a bigger customer base there. As far as I know in NY, not many people even have a house and therefore do not have enough space to have an audio system.
