I have never seen or heard of those Polk speakers? Maybe a rare low production run model? Kool. D

It is interesting. Their very first speaker AFAIK. There *may* have been an early 7 with a piezoelectric tweeter as well but so far all I have found are advertisements.

I am up the street from Naperville. I don't understand the speakers though, they don't have stands? I also don't have an HT. 2 channel only.

The wife hates powering up the two channel, so I set up the Volumio Primo for her. I do not use it at all and still prefer Roon. I have an older Bufflao NAS with the music on it. I programmed the NAS to shut down in off hours and the primo reconnects by itself when NAS is back online. The Primo connects to a Polk Audio miDock. Volumio app on her android controls it. It has worked flawlessly so far.

I did connect it to my two-channel system via RCA to try the onboard DAC. It sounded OK. IMO it is not audiophile quality. I did not try USB out to my DAC. Ed has three and loves them. @ESavinon

Cool When i went back to look they were sold out, but I know where to get them if I wanted. I am still running an Innuos Zen MK3 but, I have a friend who is just getting his feet wet into the digital realm and I thought maybe it might be a good fit for him. Or a bluesound node. Just something that will sound better than a computer speaker. He is running Ohm walsh 4 and cd's but no dac. On his HT, he was surprised at the sound of Qobuz running Bluetooth from my cell to his Onkyo HT receiver that he is now willing to get his feet wet into a streaming service.

Trying to get him going on a starter where he can upscale and not break the bank at the same time.

They mount to the wall and pivot out.
