    I guess if you value/rank an amplifier's worth by how heavy and large it is, then yeah it wouldn't score well in those regards.

    I’m not meaning what I said to indicate I would write-off the amp, I just wouldn’t risk a blind purchase for that amount. I would very much like to hear this amp.

    I also recently posted about interest in the lightweight AVA amps.

    But I generally like my amps heavy; true.

    Might not necessarily be a great deal, but these are fairly rare, and this pair is in good nick. Obviously, they have the famous Heil Air Motion Transformer (AMT) tweeters. No affiliation, but I have purchased two other pairs of speakers from the seller, and he always has good stuff - tons of excellent, vintage, audio gear. Like many of us, he has a very understanding wife.
