    Victor - I saw they had the Sennheiser HD 6XX on sale this past week too for $180 plus free upgraded earpads. Looks like they're sold out of the 6XX deal now though. Wondering if the 58X would be a nice upgrade from the HD 598 Cs I use at work. Just a little concerned with the 58X being open back... Any thoughts?

    I have a pair of the 6XX available in excellent condition if you're looking for them (comes with the velour pads only). The Jubilee is supposed to have their merits and be different from the 6XX but, not having heard the 58X myself, I cannot say what that is.
