Seems like a good price for a big center channel!

    http://cedarrapids.craigslist.org/ele/4353664928.html

That's weird. I thought 350s came with a tri-lam dome tweeter and that a black silk dome tweeter? its a decent price, but not great. i would just look for a cs400(i).

No affiliation. In fact I almost want to call the guy just to see who it is, as there aren't that many folks I know on this island that spend good money on audio.

I think this guy contacted me previously when I had some gear posted on CL. Anyway, I texted him...I might get to check out his system this weekend....we live in the same city. Never heard a full LSi system so this should be nice. However, not in the cards right now to buy it if I like it...would need to change out the AVR also.

They look like 10As, with the Peerless tweeter.

What a deal!!!! Heck, that is a great deal just for the speakers alone, and the stands are also included.

Wow - I hope someone form CP can grab them.

I have 2 pair of Monitor 10As myself but would grab another pair if I were closer (I can use the stands).

One can never have too many pair of Monitor 10s!

I would love to get them myself, but it's a bit of a drive to Columbia, SC. I briefly had some 10's and liked them better than the 7's I am using in my bedroom. But they are just a bit too big for the bedroom.

Sonic Craft is discounting Neotech factory-terminated ICs. Neotech Taiwan is one of 3 factories authorized to use the Ohno-continous-cast method to produce wire. Their product is used by Acoustic Zen, Harmonic Technology, VHAudio, Van der Hul, & others. Unfortunately, I've had no luck in finding which particular cable these outfits use on their HIGH $ ICs. They also cryo & use other terminators in-house. AFAIK, they spec the wire & Neotech manufactures it for them.

Another member has expressed his disappointment with the sound of his Neotech cables made by someone else here on clubpolk. From extensive Googling re: the IC wire I chose, it's not the same wire. NEI-3004 HAS been used in several DIY thread on the forum.

"NEI-3004 is a twisted balance type cable for noise rejection. UP-OCC copper conductor & Polyethylene insulation produce a very balanced and natural sound. This cable uses Al-Mylar & OFC braided shielding for external magnet interference." Sonic Craft has no NEI-3004 ICs.

    Cable descriptions & profiles here:

    http://www.neotechcable.com/product2_3.php

I chose to go with the Neotech NEI-3003 UP-OCC stranded center conductor, PE insulation, low-loss foamed Polyethylene dielectric, and double shielding via doubled AL-Mylar screen/UP-OCC braid. I'm acting as a guinea pig, as I can't find any specific review of this cable. It just happens to be the most expensive IC Sonic Craft has. I have read that copper cables sounded better with my Yamaha A-S2000 amp. So I took the chance.

I also have some Harmonic Technology (run by a nephew of the Neotech owner) Harmonic Wave speaker cables coming from usedcable. They were significantly less/ft than what I could purchase any Neotech speaker wire. Will post on what these Neotech products sound like with my equpment to me.

Sonic Craft sells by phone. I called this morning, & was asked if I had an account. When I said NO, the reply was that would have to cost me. I told him he would also have to overcharge me because I pronounce the Arkansas River "R-Kansas." We came to an agreement for Sonic Craft to accept my MC #, and the cable shipped out today.

I believe this deal has been posted several times on audiocircle & audiogon. I've never heard the cable, nor any of the other, more expensive, cables sold by esteemed cable mfgrs. I was just intrigued by the OCC process & took the chance. You might drop the name "4xoddic" & Sonic Craft will agree to charge you more too.
