    I run 2.3's in front and 1C's rear and no center.....works great for me. But I have said this before, 98% of the time I use 2 channel only....

    I think it depends on the center speaker(s) you are using. You really can run without a center when using SDA's. I prefer to use a center (A pair of SDA CRS+'s, actually) because it adds more impact and solidity to the center image. When I was using an ordinary small center channel (the CS 400i), I didn't notice much difference (with regard to center fill) when switching my preamp between "center channel on" and "center channel off".

    When running only two SDA's in front and no center, the vocals are localized right in front of the TV screen and dead center. Having a center speaker above the screen elevates the vocals a little. Raising the rear of the center speaker a few degrees helps to compensate for and reduce the elevation.

    I am using center (CS400i) with The Bijou to equalize my center
    and it will added a lively vocals and sonic impact in the front I mean in the center stages with front speaker mains(1.2TL and 2.3TL's).

    In addition of the above I am only using a center channel
    when watching a movie, but for totally music switch my preamp
    only to Stereo mode (2 channel Audio).

    i called polk today they said cs40 or cs400 would be fine i don't know any thing about this Bijou EQ. i only lisiten to Tv, and movie's is this the best way to go at any price?

    I don't care much for EQ's but if you must use one you have a good one. The Bijou is, at least, very good quality. Audio Control is a great company.

    I have a pair of SDA 1b and a pair of SDA 1c that I'm interested to sell. What is the best offer out there? I have the orginal manuals and cables but not the orginal boxes. The 1c has the top and bottom in a stained reddish brown wood with the middle wrapped in black fabric. The 1b are all black stained wood with the grille in black frabic. They are in great shape minus some minor scraches and a early lesson in not putting candles on top of them (candle wax left a few drip stains down the side).
