edit: noticed that this was the 100th reply as well.... creepyI never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore -
I have no earthly idea how I managed to miss all this. I didn't even know Teeny existed.

Good thinking on the sub thing, sometimes you just have to use what you have.
So is there a new project?

Ahhh, good times. Just read all of this lol. Wow. But for those who asked, there is a new project. I just bought 2 10" 600 watt Pioneer subs. Still have the Rockford Fosgate in a REAL box. Also just bought a 1600 watt amp. Going to make custom boxes for the two 10's. And yes, they will be real boxes. Going to need a new deck to....

betcha the amp doesn't put out 1600 watts or anything close... what brand, son?

Alright. Whats wrong with the amp? -
There is no way you can pay $120 for a 1600 watt amp.....MAYBE 160 watts...This should explain....Peak, Max, and most
non-conditional watt
claims refer to the
amount of power that
a component can gen-
erate or handle on a
momentary basis.
The unit, however,
cannot sustain this
level continuously.
RMS, or Continuous
watts indicate how
much power can be
exchanged on a con-
stant basis, at the
rated load, without
damaging the unit. In
some cases, the stat-
ed Max or Peak power
is equal to roughly
twice the actual RMS
power. However, a few
manufacturers exag-
gerate Max or Peak
power claims -- some-
times up to five or ten
times the actual RMS.
When considering amp-
lifier power ratings,
always divide total
advertised power by
number of channels. -

Sure you can, if it's Legacy or Pyramid or Boss or any of those *edit*disappointing*edit* amps.....I used to own one till it completely engulfed in flames in my old car.:D
Be careful with the cheapies....... -

It'll make your subs move, but I doubt it'll sound good. It's a place to start but you might consider looking at something better for the near future (like next week?).
I can't believe I still have this pic saved - I think it needs a reposting (sorry, couldn't help myself). Actually a sony amp might be a step up from pyle!
-
boom!!!!
-
Ya, still around. But nice pic, btw Michael although it wasn't amsoil. Well, why won't it sound good?

you can internally brace that beotch with some shiskabob sticks.
