    I dont know about cars.

But Id honestly like to think that most trucks present and older would survive a 15 mph crash with minimal damage.

I personally dont like cars. (Any of them)... Im a truck kind of guy...

    For the record...

We are not talking about the person being hit, but the person doing the hitting...

IE: Bumper taking the hit, not the car getting hit by the bumper.

    :)

HOw can you make over a page of arguements about how cars suck for this and for that then say you don't care and it's not at all about cars?

Honda's are great cars, even if you do opt to use one to run into someone.

As long as its not considered a truck its OK.

Motor Trend or Truck Trend named it truck of the year which is a travesty. SUV, alright, but not a truck.

Its for people that want to be rugged and drive a truck but just cant force themselves to actualy buy a truck. Kinda like security guards. They dont have the guts to be real cops so they pretend. (unless youre the type security guard that I was which is just somebody that doesnt want to have to do any manual labor :D )

    LOL....

4 foot beds seem so backwards...

And having a trunk in the bed of your trunk seems even more backwards.

Okay, I am restarting this arguement about crashes going 10 mph...
I slid into a lexus going around a turn into a neighborhood, in the rain. I hit her car, at a stop sign, going about 10-15 mph. Thanks to my nissan's invincible, plastic licence plate thingy no damage at all was done to my car at all. I only had to replace the $5 license plate. I did, however, put a fairly large dent in her driver's side front corner. So what I am suggesting is to buy a license plate thingy, and you can walk out of crashes without a scratch.

I have not tested this theory...um, beyond my first accident...so don't take my fact-like oppinionish statement to the extreme and have a head on collision with a dodge ram. Most likely the dodge (built like a tank) will suffer no damage and your plastic license plate thingy will be the least of your worries.

My dad has a 1992 dodge ram 250, and he totalled a brand new land rover but only dented his own truck. This happened going about 40 mph.

I had a 17 year old kid pull out in front of me when I had my 2000 Ram. I T-boned him, totalling his Ford Exlporer, big time! It was in the shape of a horseshoe. Mine suffered pretty bad damage as well but was repairable. That crash was at 35 mph.

Toyata Tacoma trunks are advertised as being indestructable. I watched a show where they tried to prove it wrong, but they failed. They crashed it into walls and drown it in the ocean. It still ran afterwards. I don't think it would last very long against a beatdown by a hummer h1
