10 miles south of me, at Carolina Beach harbor, a roofer fell off a 2 story roof, head first, and stuck in the muck of the harbor bay. Somebody saw his legs later on but it was too late. He should've been wearing one of those harnesses but sadly he didn't.Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them. -
I saw a lot of roofers at work around Dallas. I NEVER saw one in a harness.

Well, I was told by my expert mechanic on Ford trucks of all kinds, that the bracket holding my f150 bumper probably was jarred and fell a bit from hitting a pothole. Common problem he said.
I got out some cardboard and slid under my truck to put PB Blaster on the bolts for a day or so.
Driver's side...PB Blaster applied...done. I thought it was in the original position to begin with. Like I said, I thought I slid my fingers on top of the bumper for 150 times over the years.
Passenger side....WTH?
RUSTED out bushing plate on top where the body sits on top of the frame had rusted away and the body fell down toward the bumper. The battery sits above and just to the side. Maybe the weight of Batteries sitting above the bushing helped rust it quicker than the other side which isn't that bad at all.
I looked on-line and RUST is a common thing on these frames I see. The front-end can be taken off and then the fender to get to it. There's a few things that are rusted around there too that should be replaced.
Grinding off some bolts, Welding a few new bracing / angle supports for that big bushing and it will be good to go again.
My neighbor MIGHT help me repair this by using his welding skills. I hope so anyway. That will have to be done in the future though.
In this picture before I replaced the light fixtures a week or two back , you can see the front-end sitting real close to the bumper. It probably happened when I hit a pothole hard on that tire under the battery in Nov or Dec. .

That show was pretty creepy -- in retrospect.

Always loved Fred on Channel 1 and wondered how the "live animation" thing was done. Here's a link to a short explanation

Does she grind or polish?

Definitely a grinder. The best way to predict the future is to invent it.

Weird, this is the same exact pose I'm usually in when listening (for amplifier buzzing).
Tickle and tease that volume knob, yeah baby!

I hated this ad in the Superman comic books.

On Thursday, after a nine-month renovation, the "new" Dwarf House, which replaces the 1967 store, will once again be serving customers. Doubling in size to 10,647 square feet, the new structure dwarfs the original grill, but also pays tribute, with an outdoor dining area the exact shape and size of the 1946 store.
Founded in 1946, Truett Cathy’s first restaurant is where Chick-fil-A was born. The original building was only 512 square feet, hence Dwarf House. Cathy put his grill in a fortuitous spot, where travelers from the new airport, railroad engineers, workers at the Owens-Illinois glass plant and the Ford factory would all come by.
021422 Hapeville: Fourteen original stools from the 1967 building line the restaurant counter inside the newly renovated Dwarf House, the first of Truett Cathey’s restaurants, on Monday, Feb. 14, 2022, in Hapeville. “Curtis Compton / Curtis.Compton@ajc.com”`"Sometimes you have to look to the past to understand where you are going in the future"Anger is just anger.
