Those 50's - 60's concept cars were so cool looking!
We were culturally optimistic in those far-away times.

A big book on "Concept Cars" is one I did not donate during the purges.
There's some other BIG books on cars I saved also.
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

Bruce is a little to radical imo, He needs to stick to music, what he does best and forget his political career.
Was never a fan. He'll get a slap on the wrist. I don't know why these types just don't keep their mouths shut. He's a jackazz! -
Whoa. That Those are new to me.
Lady Penelope would be jealous, though.
Thunderbirds are go.

A SAAB Gripen on display at a UK airshow in 2012. I do like the graphics applied to the canard fins.

A 1971 ad from my high school newspaper.
I wonder if such an ad would be allowed today.

Congratulations to your daughter, you and family. Berry College is a beautiful place and great school.
My first job out of college was in Rome Georgia at the General Electric Medium Transformer Plant. I grew up about 40 miles south of Rome. The Sheriff's picture I posted above was made right on US Highway 27 in Buchanan which is the route to Rome.
One of the nice things about the Rome area is the absence of an interstate highway nearby.

There are a few styles (maybe a lot -- I am not an expert!).aprazer402 wrote: »

That's a pretty one.
The only covered bridge I know/knew in MD is the one over the Little Gunpowder Falls in... well... is it in Kingsville? If not, it's close to Kingsville! EDIT: Jericho Road Bridge, Jerusalem, MD
Used to fish (and drink, truth be told) in the vicinity of that bridge.
In New England (especially northern New England) covered bridges are just a notch down from a religion.
We have two locally -- one in the neighborhood.

And the other, bridging two states, one town south of here.
The easiest way to I-91 and the mid-Atlantic states from here is across that bridge
Speaking of red covered bridges, the one in nearby Taftsville (Woodstock), VT is iconic -- although it's not in the absolute most pretty spot in New England... careful choice of photographic locale can make it look like maybe it is!
(borrowed image)
Quechee, VT's iconic covered bridge was damaged out by Hurricane/Tropical Storm Irene but has been rebuilt. There is an excellent restaurant next to it (operated by Simon Pearce, known for their marvelous blown glassware).
Irene also wiped out our home builder's office, which was just a bit up the road from the bridge.

^^^^ It's looking good in these photos. Nice photos, Thank you!

I know where that is! :'(
My mother's mother's parents owned a huge tract of land that was miles long, from North Troy (they donated the land for the church there) southward that ran between Route 105 and the Missisquoi River.
I don't know if their property went that far south, but it was massive. I am trying to find plat maps from 1917, when they bought the land, up to the 1960s, but so far most everything is from the 1800s. -
