Well, polydactyly is oddly common in cats. Thumbs, thankfully, aren't. At least so far.

Randy, I remember the Fulton Fish Market. I did work off and on in that area on John Street close to Pearl from 1976 forward for about 6 years. I ate at Sweets Seafood many times. It was so old it had no air conditioning - just great seafood. All of those things went when the South Street Seaport area was created. There were no people to speak of in the Financial District on the weekends in the late 70's. While living in Key West we had 3 poly cats from the Hemingway house where a lot of their cats were polydactyl.......must have been at least 50/60 cats on property during the 70's -

i really enjoyed the people down there. They always asking me about Maine & how we lived up here lmao. I would go down Declancy Ave & turn right into market & first place on corner i parked the rig. Bars n pubs all over at 3am. Great food. Great people. I heard it's closed now ? My grandmother was a nurse & lived on. 225 west end Ave. Rip. My uncle worked at liqueur store close too. 1970's. Great trucks. Pete's have narrow cabs. I'm on the thick side & prefer wider cabs. I've had Freightliners, Western Star, Macks, Volvos. Their all good trucks. Years back I used a Mack Superliner with a 500 in it & it had 2 shifters & had to put arm thru the steering wheel to shift it. Wouldn't that thing pull a hill. Back in the 80's my Mack 350 Cummings you'd see a hill & it was like you threw a anchor out. 60mph to 40 if you were lucky. Don't miss that truck. Don't stop her. Most young girls wouldn't think of cutting wood. I grew up cutting 8+ cord every fall & passing it thru a basement window for my gramp. I'd do it again just to see him again..
