I see a high amount of billable service hours in your future.Nope...how to do an engine swap in your 2003 Exploder when the timing guides explode on the backside of the engine...ugh.

mmm -- we had an Exploder (1993 vintage; bought it used from our mechanic in '95 or early '96). Both kids learned to drive in it, come to think of it.
Drivetrain held up pretty well; had lots of other interesting little glitches. We ultimately passed it along to a hifi buddy, who kept it going for many more years, until it finally more or less collapsed into an amorphous pile of rust.

Fun with hyper-cheap loudspeakers and a pretty cheap kit amplifier, too (push-pull 11BM8 for ca. 8 wpc).

And no speakers either. They probably couldn't afford anything else at the moment that picture was taken. Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

I didn't even notice it!?
(given that we still have a CRT TV hooked up at this house -- almost never
actually watch any TV, though -- 'cept sometimes the news in the morning on a small flat-panel LED TV I found by the side of the road and took a chance on!)

Metric hex key for assembly included (of course).
A rare photo of Åke Günaar:
Actually, the photo above is was a Swedish hifi engineer/designer of some repute. Any of y'all recognize/remember him?
