    Nope...how to do an engine swap in your 2003 Exploder when the timing guides explode on the backside of the engine...ugh.

    mmm -- we had an Exploder (1993 vintage; bought it used from our mechanic in '95 or early '96). Both kids learned to drive in it, come to think of it.

    Drivetrain held up pretty well; had lots of other interesting little glitches. We ultimately passed it along to a hifi buddy, who kept it going for many more years, until it finally more or less collapsed into an amorphous pile of rust.

    I didn't even notice it!? :p

    (given that we still have a CRT TV hooked up at this house -- almost never
    actually watch any TV, though -- 'cept sometimes the news in the morning on a small flat-panel LED TV I found by the side of the road and took a chance on!)
