Is it someone famous? I just thought it was a bizarre looking machine.

Doubt he ever made to famous with that contraption unless it was a spectacular wreck like the six million Dollar Man 😁

Bizarre indeed!!! Heat shield from the engine?? Wheelie bars?? Looks like a twin so probably not a ton of torque. Nothing fancy but a hard tail suspension. I'd loved to have seen a run but man, if he got out of shape with that long rake.......

Geoff, I gotta know - what do you consider to be an adequate torque figure? lol

    "Adequate"?????? LOL, well, my 2005 GSX-R 750 had 64 ft-lbs at 11200 RPM while my '06 liter GSX-R had a whopping 87 ft-lbs @ 8500 RPM......now with that in consideration, the 2005 SV650 twin that I got invited to do an endurance race on had 47.2 ft-lbs @ 7200 RPM.

After hopping off the 750 and jumping on the twin, it felt like a toy. I hardly used the brakes at the end of the straight, just threw into the 120mph corner and supported it with my inside knee...it was a blast!! I was riding around inexperienced riders on Kawi 600's B)

Here's a pic of me riding around the outside of slower riders on my 750...check the difference in angles, I remember just barely brushing his plastic with my elbow as I went by him.....

He came into my pits after the race and told me I scared the crap out of him. I encouraged him by saying, "Dude!! You were hauling a s s when I went by you" :D

I think the idea is that if you're fast enough and pretend the laws of physics won't apply to you sometimes you can sneak stuff like this past the universe.

This is an example of the LAW of GOINTA. THERS JUST NO WAY THAT will GOINTA THAT!

This happens daily just 2' from our new clear porch panels. These critters even let us stand right there and look at them as long as we don't make sudden moves. We had 6 finches having a pool party one very hot day last week. It was hilarious. Water splashing everywhere. :D

The squirrels were just HOT and resting. Different days, but maybe the same squirrel.
